It is in the shade most of the day and the walkway is lined with sakura trees and the whole compound is surrounded by a wall that has Ayame's raiton running through it. If anyone was to try and climb the wall they would get a nasty shock. Don't even try to jump over it either because the wall is topped with spikes and has chakra golems that hide within various spikes. The compound is large enough to house more than a few people and has a very large yard, enough for Daichi to run to his heart's content. There is also a large pond with fairly large koi with a gazebo overlooking it.

Ayame walked into the house and headed straight for her and James' room. Daichi on the other hand yawned and stretched then headed for his own room. Ayame sighed and removed her katana and placed it in its proper place, before removing her haori, and keeping her armor on. Although she did take off her bracers, they were starting to get on her nerves. She then untied her hair and the wavy mass fall over her shoulder. She then sat on the bed and waited for James.

James walked into the house and took his time heading to the room shared by Ayame and him, He wasn't really angry in the moment, So much as just tired. A lot of people were dead by some mystic fools errand, and James has killed a lot of people today along with almost losing his lover, his childs stand in mother, and his Kage in one day.
James walked over to his side of the bed as he entered the room, slipping off his own set of bracers and working on his boots and greaves quickly, His armored Jacket clanged as he tossed it on the rack he had for it, revealing a thin undershirt to cover his scarred muscle and desert worn skin. He looked over to Ayame, checking her vitals unconciously, searching for any sign of injury as he was prone to do from habit.

Ayame nodded and rubbed at her temples. She had a major headache, her hand was throbbing from Daichi biting her, and she was just plain out tired from expending chakra. Yeah I know. I should have told you. I shouldn't have done it. All that other stuff too. She said sighing and running her hands through her hair. It was a nervous habit, and James knew she only did it when she was fairly scared. What was she scared of? Her decision meaning losing him.

Ayame shook her head then moved forward a bit letting her head rest on his chest, I need you to trust me. They weren't giving their all till I was gone. Why do you think Bast and I had to step in? I trust our shinobi to do their best, but some of them are getting too complacent. I want to keep this village safe. It is mine, it is my pack. Waking up from a nice deep sleep, Theodin rolled out of bed and walked out to the kitchen. Grabbing some fruit he had sitting out, he walked out to the living room and sat down to eat quickly. Once he was done he remember a bunch of training he wanted to do, so threw his armor on and poofed away, heading for the academy. (EXIT)

An ANBU would arrive at the Kage's residence and approach silently. Announcing his presence he entered only as far as was polite and expected of one in his position and awaited for the Kazekage or one of her family to arrive and invite him in past the greeting room. He held a message that was for Ayame's eyes, and when opened read thusly.
Kazekage Hatake Ayame, I, Hatake Masahiro, have taken short leave to attend personal matters that have been left unattended in the two years I had trained amongst the village under Satetsu Sanshi. Now with the current truce between ourselves and my former home, I wish to return only long enough to claim my belongings and ascertain the knowledge of my former pupil's status. With your trust in me and my appointed rank as an ANBU I will travel, I will cause no incident, I will do no harm, and when I return I will speak to you further to elaborate on just what was so precious I had to return for it.
I implore you to keep in mind, while Sunagakure is where your family resides, Konohagakure is where the remnants of mine lie. I do not wish to leave that in such a place that I have no love for any longer. A place that could not respect them in living cannot respect them in death.

San's Chakra led to this estate, Ayame's home. Bast had never been here before, and it hardly seemed appropriate to waltz right in, but she was feeling a bit low on patience and would apologize later. She strolled up to the main building and stepped inside. After searching for a few minutes, she found the Satetsu in a very comfortable-looking chair, looking like he was waiting for someone. She took up a spot opposite him.
"San," she greeted him with a nod. "Have a moment?"
Tea sloshed around her flask as she took a swig, then settled again.
