Cow tongue is edible, kids!

I hear it tastes like bacon, but I'd imagine it actually tastes more like cooked bologna. I bet it'd taste good in carbonara.

I actually kind of like it. The only problem is finding a place that actually sells lengua. Most just sell the cheek meat and say it's lengua. Also, lengua is kind of what it's called around here and I found it easier to put that instead of having to stop think and type out cow tongue.

Any part of the cow is edible, and most foreign countries use a lot more of the organs.

Is it expensive?

Not really. It's about the same price as most other meats though I can't give you an exact price. Been a long while since I've gone and even bothered checking the price. Though it is really good. You just have to get past the fact that it's a cow's tongue.

Yesss. Lamb is delicious. Pricey, but delicious. Sometimes around this time of year (and Easter), you can find chops for cheap at the grocery. I nab those up. 3nodding
