"Theia!" A concerned voice broke the otherworldly silence of the Haven.
This place had always seemed strange to the usual wandering god, but this was the safest place for his daughter to live. With wars, plague, murders and the like in the mortal plane beneath, there was nowhere he could hide. Though the god of seasons trusted his strength against his mortal ilk, their numbers could be overwhelming at time. Truth, he worried for her, the newly reborn goddess of summer, safety. As not all gods that wandered the Haven were entirely benevolent.
"Daughter, where are you?" Something inside of him wanted to use an older tongue, something akin to 'where art though' and the like. Perhaps it was something his past lives had done. Was he a followers of older, more traditional ways in his other lives? Regardless, Misimu had called out again as his paws left impressions in the snow that seemed to permanently cover the divines' home. Where his paws once were, were now bright red leaves, leaving a temporary trail as he moved before they faded away mere minutes later. She had wandered and now, despite being so brightly colored, he could see no sign of her.

A sigh of relief rushed out of the god of seasons' as if he had been holding his breath the entire time. His slow, watchful walk turned into a light jog, meeting his daughter half-way. Lowering his head, he rubbed his face against hers. Only a pawful of times had he ever been so worried in this lifetime and that was one of the highest ranking. She was so young, new to the world, and she was his daughter.
"You are almost as elusive as my father." Misimu commented as her groomed at her head tuft which seemed to be perpetually messy. "Why were you hiding? Is there someone else here?" His head raised quickly as his ears turned in all directions. Listening, there was no sign of another god, not yet anyways. Still, he stood vigilant, his black mane flowing in the ever-blowing wind as snow stuck in it. She could not protect herself, not yet. That was his duty to her. Perhaps he was overly cautious though...

"Not every god is as you or I am. Some mean to..." How could he tell her of those that would kill both her and I? Those with devilish intent? But still, there were others who could teach her so much in her impressionable youth. Without meaning to, Misimu frowned. Down on the mortal plane, would they both be better off? There he could protect her to some extent. The only real danger could be mortals as while gods were plentiful, the lands were large enough that they hardly ran into one another. Still...
Turning his attention back to her, he finally finished his sentence. "Well, some just aren't very nice. Try not to wander too far, please? I'm not sure what I'd do if I lost you." The frown had since vanished and a faint, but genuine smile remained in its place. Misimu once again lowered his head to meet her level, but this time his body followed suit. Snow crunched underneath him as his belly touched the ground.
He was too serious, too frightened. His mother had taught him not to be so scared of mortals, of others, not like she was. "How would you like...to go somewhere new?" The god asked as he gently placed one of his large paws atop of her head.
