Big News!
The first couple of the Tangambili are going to tie the knot! That is to say, there's going to be a large marriage ceremony that will take place on the full moon (the 8th this month!). Not only is a marriage happening, but it is happening on the Hunter's Moon - one of the most important moons of the year. On the Moon, prey is often at it's most plentiful so there will be plenty to go around.

To Participate
1. Randomize 1-50 and match the number of this post.
2. To play, you must RP the Hunt! Anyone can join in.
3. Please wait at least 1 RP post between your own (that is, allow another person to post between your own).

Ghenna was excited for the Hunt. With her duties as a Whisperer, there was a lot to be done and it took up much of her time. Not that she minded being busy, but it was nice to just be a regular pack dog every now and again. Especially when it meant helping others with the hunt. She had already managed to spot a few rabbits in the area, but was highly unsuccessful in catching them. Still, she was trying her best for someone who was so sorely out of practice.

Basha was excited, not only was it the hunter moon and the pack was bustling with activity but her uncle was to be married in just about a week. The young wild dog was excited to be apart of the pack and in the bustle of the activity.

She was hoping that she'd be able to meet some friends during the hunter moon festivities. She had become close with Gele but she got the impression that he wouldn't be home forever, although she wished he would be. She was walking out towards the hunting grounds excited to get in on the action.

Chupa was excited, very excited indeed. She was a young adult now, but her mind had not yet grown up to match her body. She was a little less clumsy now, but still wasn't entirely surefooted. A trait she could train out, perhaps. Bouncing to and fro she made her way down to the area to meet the others. A wedding! A wedding! She remembered someone, probably her mother, explaining marriages to her when she was young. Events with the rest of the pack were very exciting. She remembered when she was a pup, they joined up with another pack for... something or the other. Her brow furrowed.

Now they were going hunting, which was something Chupa wasn't fantastic at, but she was excited anyway!

Basha was excited to see many other wild dogs joining for the hunt. She wasn't a great hunter, she was more skilled in the area of healing opposed to killing. But she was excited to get out there and hunt with the rest of them, even if she did make a fool of herself in the process.

She was ready an rearing to go, seeing the others collecting. She wondered what they'd be able to find around the pack. She personally was hoping for some hares, but beggers couldn't be choosers and she would be happy if she managed to catch anything.

Twana, the Patron of Tang, approached the crowding area with an excited step. The events of this time period were absolutely worth being ecstatic over and she found herself suddenly feeling quite youthful. Upon reaching the center-most area she spotted Basha and quickly head in the direction of her beloved daughter.

"Good day Basha!" Twana proclaimed, her tone becoming a prime example of just how happy she truly was. "Are you looking forward to the hunt?" It was not uncommon for healers to accompany hunters. This would be common practice due to injuries on the run. Twana believed that this severely helped in bringing many of their own home safely.

"I know I certainly am ready to go."

The smile on the Patrons face did not cease, not even while speaking.

Basha smiled when her mother approached her, a rush of relief rushed over her to have a friendly face near by, as much as Basha wanted to make new friends she wasn't the best at it and she was happy to have her mom with her.

She was struck at how youthful her mom seemed, specially after having delivered such a large litter of pups not too long ago. Clearly her mom was excited to be out and about again. "I am heading out with the hunt." Basha told her mom excitedly.

"Though I don't know that I will be any good as a hunter. Dad was always the hunter for us when we were searching for you." she told Twana with a smile. Her dad had taken such good care of her while they searched for her mom and sister she wouldn't have made it without him.

Ghenna didn't allow her mishap with the rabbits to discourage her. Within a few moments she had spotted them again and went onto chase after them, although it looked more like a puppy chasing its tail than it did a grown dog hunting down her dinner.

Ghenna went whizzing by Basha and Twana in pursuit of the rabbits, tongue hanging out with delight as she chased. Despite Ghenna's quickness, she stumbled over her own feet, crashing into the dirt some ways away with a loud thud and piercing yipe.

Basha let out a great laugh as the female wild dog sped past her and her mom in the chase of the rabbits. It did look like she was having great fun as she ran in pursuit of the furry little things. Perhaps if she cared less about what she looked like and of failing she could actually be decent at this hunting thing or at least perhaps she would have a good time.

"Oh mom it does look like fun doesn't it." she said giggling at her mom. She was now excited to get out there with everyone else and hunt to her hearts content. Of course she would be there to heal any injuries too but it wasn't too likely that anyone would get injured out in the hunt.

The amusement was contagious and the older wild dog found herself laughing with little reason or care why. Today and the days to come were to be a joyous venture and she wouldn't allow herself to be drowned with duties and diligence. It was during this time that Twana was given quite the display of a grown female bounding about with puppy delight before colliding with the ground at a decent speed. Her first instinct was to worry, than she forcibly relaxed and gave a gentle giggle.Duties would always be her priorities, this was certainly obvious, but it appeared the older fem was attempting to teach herself change.

"Are you alright?" She smiled warmly, with a tender tone. It would be no surprise to many that she treated most like her pups. Motherly love was something that came easily to her. "You're absolutely right Basha! How could one avoid such an experience?" Her question was a rhetorical one, as hunts were not always the trigger of such joys, she had seen the best and worst of both worlds.

"Shall we give this a try little Healer?"

The smile returned to something of amusement and almost touched on a bit of youth. This was her first time without her puppies and she made a quick choice to enjoy it while others watched them.

Basha giggled, "All right mama let see who can catch a rabbit first." Basha said her voice joyful. Without waiting for her mother to respond the younger wild dog took off running. She had never caught a rabbit on her own but she was going for it anyways.

She headed towards the bushes, she figured with all the wild dogs bounding around the area no rabbit would be stupid enough to hang out in the open. She began jumping up and down in the bushes trying to scare something out.

Twana was absolutely over whelmed with the happiness these moments with Basha brought her. She had lost so much precious time with the young one and though she was not so young any longer, she was still a pup in Twanas eyes. "Alright sweetie! Let's see how well we do." She grinned devilishly because what her young daughters didn't know was that well before she had met their Father she had to fight for her own and survive with what she caught. It didn't mean she was supremely amazing at such a task, but she knew a thing or two.

With watchful eyes Twana captured the quick movements of her silver daughter and gave herself a moment to absorb. Had she had more of an opportunity she would have shared this knowledge with her family, but life happens and this was the way her life worked out. Without another thought Twana was on the move, quietly. The theory her parents had worked out many moons ago was to think like the creature you hunt, know their place of scavenging and know their burrows. Twana knew neither in these terms, but would do what she could.

Basha paused her jumping about for a moment to watch her mother, the older wild dog was moving slower quietly nearly silent. She wondered for a moment if perhaps this was a better way to go about hunting. She shook her head and decided that is looked like a lot less fun.

"No mom don't do it like that" she said in a voice that was a borderline whine. "This is way more fun" she said as she began bouncing around in the bushes again.

She saw something move in the bushes and caused a rabbit come speeding out heading straight towards her mother."
