Distantly related to the other avian demons, Jubjub birds often live in dark, desolate valleys, the easier to scare off unwanted visitors with their booming voices and sound manipulation magic. They're hardly all bark and no bite, though. When provoked, Jubjub birds have a raptor's strength and show great gusto in kicking, stomping, and clawing their way through their problems.

A Jubjub bird's natural form resembles an oversized secretarybird, albeit with more colorful plumage and a double set of long ears. Its eagle-like body is about the size of a Haast's eagle's.

Natural Ability: Sound Projection - Quark is able to project, or "throw," a single sound in his immediate vicinity (usually his own voice). To listeners nearby, the sound seems to originate from a location a short distance away from its true source.
