"Try the door!"

"It's locked!"

"Does anyone have a paperclip? Or a skeleton key?"

"RAM THE DOOR!"

THUD.

These were just a few of the loud noises emanating from the wing of Amityville where the infamous teachers' lounge was rumored to be. Rumor had it that behind the door lay a terrible secret. Or maybe it was a terrible treasure? No, it was definitely an artifact. Or a curse. Or a tome in which every grade of every student was inscribed in blood. Or a hundred-headed minipet that could answer any question.

... There wasn't really a clear consensus where school rumors were concerned.

Somewhere at the front of the gathering group of students was the student council president himself, attempting to knock the door off its hinges. It was his duty to end the tyranny of teachers, and avenge the collective suffering of the student body. Aymet wasn't sure why, but he had a good feeling that today was the day they'd finally rename it the students' lounge.

Gabby had neither a paper clip, nor a skeleton key. He did, however, agree that ramming the door could work.

He wasn't even there to investigate whatever rumors had been cropping up concerning artifacts, or curses, or tomes. He was there because students were performing public violations, and he wanted in on it.

"Maybe we could freeze the entire door and shatter it." He offered helpfully. "You know. If we don't find a key."

Sammy squrimed her way forward pushing other students aside till she stood beside the undead dragon banging at the doors. She'd liked Aymet, she supported this plan, expanding the rights of students was just like expanding rights of the undead. She was sure to join in his rampage.

"Hey. Move a bit. Let me take a shot." Moving forward she lifted a leg smashing a steal toed boot into the door a few times.

Pausing in her stomping she turned to Gabby pondering it a bit, "I'm down with this. You know and Ice Mage reaper or something?"

Remi was following, and for a brief second agreed that maybe ramming the door was the best option.

But, before that, he remembered something from one of his ghost friends.

"...Anyone a ghost that can try walking through the door to unlock the other side?"

Night grinned as he swung his arms over his head, resting them on his neck.

"Ah ah ah You really are trying to break it down Aymet!" Night's smile widened, "Why don't you just have a ghost phase through it?" Night played with his ghost abilities, phasing in and out and leaving only a grin behind. "Want me to try try try?"

Somewhere in the midst of the chaos, one faithful zombie friend had shuffled in. he was not simply Mort the Student Council Secretary today, however, but Mort the Greatest Thing in Existence Since Brains, more superior even than when he was the king of creation. He eyed the door with an unimpressed look, then leaned in to murmur to Aymet, "Is wonderful to hear the minions clamoring for our cause at least."

They were all willing to work without them being more persuasive, which was just A+.

What do you do when you see a large crowd trying to break down a door? You join them of course! Grinning, the harpy flapped closer and observed what was going on. He had little to no clue what was behind the door or why they wanted into that room so badly. Those were triffling little details!

"Gogogogogogogogogogogogo!" The harpy aimed a soft breeze of wind at the smirking ghost, "If you can phase through it do it dude! Like come on!!!"

Gabby opened his mouth, and a puff of frost twirled up out of it like smoke. He hissed, clearly insulted at the question. "Who the hell needs a reaper at a time like this. What are they going to do, take the door's soul?"

Of course, he was a ghost as well, but he certainly wasn't going to be stupid enough to phase through a teachers lounge door. He liked not being dissipated.

Sammy waved her hands in the air, purple flames trailing behind the bone fingers as she made a woopdie doo at Gabby.

"I met a reaper who has a pet cat that bursts into flames, they do weird magic stuff sometimes not just weapons."

She reached over poking his nose, "If you got the ice frost it dude! Leme kick this damn door in!"

"Ice is lame!" Came a voice from the crowd, and soon a small red imp in a foxfire-lined coat stepped between the legs of the students.

"Just burn it down!"

"Did you hear that?" Gabby waved at his ear, as though a bug was buzzing by it. "I feel like I just heard something, but it was too high pitched, and low to the ground, to be real. Maybe just a gnome or something."

He did not take well to ice being called lame.

A scrambling clatter and rhythmic jingling grew louder as the Council's Treasurer hurriedly approached the commotion, expression oddly serious for the Cerberus that wore it. When he came to a skidding stop, he took a moment to catch his breath again, and held up his finger as he bent and panted like a dog.

Then, just as abruptly as all of that happened, he stood upright and frowned. It briefly seemed that he intended to reprimand all of them - instead, he pulled a large keyring out of his jacket, and dropped the seriousness in favor of a beaming smile.

"Hiiiii Aymet! Hiiii Mort! I got keys! Let's try all of 'em!"

A certain red dragon was now barreling top speed through the hall, aiming to ram the door head on.

"Oh Jack I know that voice...." Sammy turned to look down into the crowd for TG frowning. "Just ignore it and if you see the source smash its face against the door till it disipates...."

She looked up as suddenly Jericho was running at the door. Purple flaming eyes bursting into larger flames before she dove for the side "DUCK AND COVER!"
