[PRP] A place to call our own (Shun / Mitsu)

"Well, this place started up about five years ago and we try to keep things up to date. Most of our rooms have a rather nice view outside, if I have to say for myself. Various raven minipets enjoy to roost in the area. Hopefully you don't mind birds," the raum explained as they made their way to the elevator. Once in, he hit the button for the fourth floor.

When they arrived, he continued on down the hall at a leisurely pace.

Shun tilted his head lightly at this, then glanced to Mitsu to see what she thought so far. It wasn't making a huge impression on him in either direction currently, but it at least wasn't bad.

As they arrived to the elevator Mitsu gave it a glance of unease before she stepped inside. It wasn't the first time she had been in one but she didn't really enjoy the feeling of going up. At least it didn't seem like they were going up too high. Just to the fourth floor which Mitsu had gotten somewhat used to in the reaper dorms.

"No, birds are fine." The elevator dinged open and as the raum stepped out to show them the way Mitsu peeked out to look at the hallway first before turning her attention to Shun. He didn't look largely impressed with the information but he also didn't look disappointed. At least not ghost in the closet disappointed. So that meant everything was okay so far. As for what she thought so far she wasn't sure. Mostly she was letting the information sink in as well as what everything looked like.

"Be sure to check all the closets when we get there." Mitsu whispered.

Shun nodded curtly in agreement to that. He did not want any... surprises like the ghost in the closet. With his hands in his pockets, he eyed the raum from behind, wondering if the demon was hiding anything from them. He was a little leery, yes.

Before too long, the man guiding them unlocked one of the doors and let them in. The reaper nodded once in acknowledgement, then stepped inside. The interior looked relatively modern. Like the previous apartment, the kitchen could be seen sectioned off from the main living room area.

"That hall over there leads to the two rooms. Both offer an overlook to the small patch of woods nearby. Go on, have a look around," he said, smiling.  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Stepping inside as well Mitsu's first order of business was to check the closet by the front door. She opened it up slowly, peeking inside first, but then finally opened it fully to reveal there was nothing there. Just a large open closet.

It was a relief.

Closing the door to the closet Mitsu moved further in checking random doors as she went but the place seemed nice, clean, and very new age. The kitchen was pretty open and looked to have a lot of cabinet space which was nice but it wasn't long before she was moving down the hallways toward the bedrooms. She stepped to the right first, checking the first room. It was large with tall glass doors that opened out onto a covered balcony. As promised she could see the woods but she didn't dare step too close to see it clearly.

Instead she made her way over to the closet in the room sliding the door back to check it.

"It's clear." She announced, though the raum obviously wouldn't understand.

Shun began to wander around as well, leaving Mitsu on closet checking duty as he examined other parts of the apartment with scrutiny.

"Good," he nodded to her as she found no hidden ghosts or anyone else in the closet space. The Raum, understandably, was confused at this exchange, but he just shrugged and smiled.

"How much is rent?" the reaper decided to ask. The place was looking good so far. He was liking it. In response, the demon gave a number. It was more expensive than the last place they checked, but it wasn't a ridiculously high price. It seemed like a good number for a place like this, and it did cover a number of utilities as well.  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Checking the last few closets that she could find Mitsu found they were thankfully all empty. With that part out of the way she was really able to have a look at the rest of the apartment. It was a very nice set up. The harder part would be to figure out how to set everything up.

Hearing the amount for rent Mitsu frowned. It was a bit higher. Not out of their range higher but that meant money toward other things would be tighter. Not that she didn't know how to get by.

"So what do you think Shun? It looks nice and its not too high off the ground." She could get used to it. After all she got over the idea of being in Shun's dorm where she actually spent a great deal of time.

"I think this will make for a nice new home for us," Shun stated, turning towards the Raum.

"Oh! Excellent. I'll just go get the papers ready for you to look over and sign. Once we get everything cleared up and all set, you two should be able to begin moving in afterwards," the demon practically chirped. He then left the room briefly to go get the paperwork.

"So this is it."  

[Inu-Mitsu]

With a nod Mitsu watched the raum leave to gather the paperwork they would have to look over. A small part of her was questioning signing a contract with a demon but maybe she was just over thinking it.

"I...guess it is." Mitsu looked around the empty apartment and realized for the first time it was going to be theirs. Her face became a little more excited at that looking around trying to picture where everything would go. "Huff Puff." It was almost overwhelming to think about. Their first home together. "This is so exciting." She was a little bouncy as she stood next to Shun trying to get him into the excited hazy she was in as well.

A faint smile appeared on his lips briefly and that was about as much excitement he showed. She could be enthusiastic for the both of them. He did snake his hands around her waist and pulled her close to a quick kiss, however.

"A place to call our own..."

Of course it wasn't quite theirs yet. They still needed to deal with the paper work and something could come up in the last minute but this is the farthest they've gotten so far.

"You're... going to need to have to read the contract carefully."  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Returning the kiss Mitsu tried to settle down a little but it was hard to keep from being excited. It was going to be the first time they had a place that was theirs. Not his place or her place but theirs.

"Oh right." Mitsu had almost forgot in her excitement that she was the only one that could read the contract. Oh no...

She would have to read parts that confused her out loud for Shun to hear. Hopefully they wouldn't sneak in anything terrible into the lease.

Shun took her hand and squeezed it gently, then looked around. They'd need to get some more furnishings and moving was going to be a fair bit of work in its own right. But he didn't have doubts that they wouldn't be able to take care of it. This was a nice reprieve from having to worry about the horsemen or hunter or the s**t with the legacies.

Around now, the Raum had returned with a small stack of papers.

"Here you go. Take your time to read this over. If you have any questions, let me know."  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Oh dear jack that was a lot of paperwork. "T...thanks." Mitsu took it with a perplexed expression wondering just what all was in this thing. "Can we check it over, fill out what we need to and bring it back a bit later?"  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Of course!" The raum nodded, "If you need anything else, my card is attached to the papers."

Nodding at that, he went on to head back downstairs.

Shun stared at the small stack with a furrowed brow. Well then.  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Watching the raum go Mitsu looked to the paperwork and then to Shun. This was a lot to go through. "Well, I guess we should get started. Do you want to go to the tea house so we can sit down?"

Getting through the leasing papers was a bit of a slog. Shun wasn't a fan of any sort of paper work, really, though he was glad Mitsu was there to help out with the reading. There was some jargon being tossed about in the contract and after combing through everything, he went on and signed his name as well as he could.

Letting out a breath, he took a sip of his tea and leaned back in his seat.

"We'll need to start packing up our things soon, then."
