A few white roses Short IC Response: The petite mare hadn't thought that she would ever find herself here, in front of an alter, staring up at a pale, white star. She had set the selected roses down on the alter, the few, lush petals practically glowing within the light of the bright star. So it was, ebony eyes gazed longingly up, taking a moment to find her whispered voice, to figure out the right words.
"Please. . . star. If . . . if you hear this, please give me a family once. . . once more," even spoken loudly, her words were hardly above a whisper. She had never been a strong speaker, had always only managed to speak ever so quietly and softly. Still, she tried to speak as confidently, as loudly, as she could muster.
"I . . . My children are gone, my. . . my mate often away. For all the he loves me he. . . is not always near. If we might . . . make stronger our family. This time. . . this time I'll raise them right." She hadn't done a bad job with Atreus or Ecclesia, but she had been more than a little over protective. She had likely driven off her daughter by encouraging her to stay home, to be safe, to stay near. It hadn't been her intention, but she had never been a mother before, and she couldn't help but make mistakes.
So, here she found herself, hoping for a little life, a little light to draw her out of the shadows. She was a recluse by nature, and as hard as Tobias tried to draw her out, she could use a little help. Perhaps having a young one to nurture, once again, would breathe life in her anew.

Hey guys. . . Watch the list. Elfster's & Geyser's number keeps dropping because I made a typo bracket when I first made up the list. I had fixed it in my later rolls, and on the front page, so I'm not sure why it keeps dropping.
Use the front page list -- just make sure names are crossed if you're rolling!
I don't think we've rolled anything past that number yet but. . . . keep an eye on it cause it'll change the list numbers if it doesn't get added.
