[PRP] Paint the Roses Red (Carlos and Amy)

Carlos had found someplace interesting to settle, in the shade of a tree. His tail flicked back and forth as he stared to the sky through the thorny rose patch. Being a ghost it was a simple matter to pick his way to the middle.

A bee buzzed by and he carefully watched a moth settle on one of the roses resting before taking flight again.

He didn't want to move from his nice nap spot. Carlos might even take of the pin if he felt so inclined but that would require as least a little movement, so instead he rested in his student form, half asleep under a rose bush.

Amy was looking for some more plants again when she encountered a small rose patch. Normally she would avoid this area since she herself was already a rose, and she didn't need any roses for her garden. She bent down anyway, thinking she could pluck a few of them anyway to give to friends [if she ever made any], a thorn pricking her hand. She yelped and jumped back a small bit, making a small pouty face at her hand.

Well dang....She was expecting something like that to happen but maybe she wasn't used to the hurt?

"Owww...."

What was that sound? Carlos turned and peeked out from his space yellow eyes a staring.

Oh it was a ghoul. "Prickly p***k. thorns I have but my beauty is like none other." he whispered. He had learned that no one ever correcting his poor riddles so it was becoming easier to just make one up on the spot.

Eh? What was that sound she just heard?

Amy looked around for the sound, trying to be as careful as she could to avoid the thorns from the rose bush while trying not to laugh at the irony in all of this. Her father was a rose so it was even funnier! Looking in the direction she thought she heard the whisper from, she set down her basket before smiling.

"If you're hiding, please come out. I wont hurt you!"

Hopefully she was correct about where she was shouting to, because this would make her look rather silly.

Carlos peeked out from under his bush and scooted out head followed by blue stripes, followed by a long bushy tail. He floated along, navigating the thorns without getting pricked, oh wait did his leg just pass through that bramble?

Still most of him was concealed to some point and he sat up into a rose, having it fall across his head.

"What a fimble famble day it is."

What? fimble famble?

Amy was clearly confused, never having heard such words before. She was about to take her leave when she finally noticed that there was something underneath a rose. Oh! She carefully picked the rose up, smiling at it before looking at the cutest thing! "Oh mai~ Look at how cute you are! What's your name invisikitty?" She smiled warmly, hopping she wouldn't cause him to run away.
