It had been a long day of travel as Hiamovi had once again scavenged herbs. Now back beneath the trees pleasant shade he also seems to have some meat from a kill nearby, food saved for later on or perhaps prepared for someone. Grasping the stone with his fangs he begins grinding a root in the stone bowl to make a pulp, sitting up on his haunches.
Despite continuing this work his mind was elsewhere, hoping to see the sweetheart Chozi once more. The nap they'd had was so nice, it had given him heart to be nuzzled back and even as the pulp is done he continues to mush it, lost in thought over her. Would she come by again?

It had been a few days since Chozi managed to make her way back out of the pride lands. She had been asked to dance at a small ceremony and it made her flush with pride that anyone would ask her to dance for them personally.
But, once again she needed some time away from her pride. She loved them all quite dearly, but dealing with so many at once was sometimes a hardship. She was happy, though. Once her paws hit dry ground, she became giddy with happiness. Butterflies dances in the air near the borders and she chased them in the direction she wished to go.
To the tree.
Oh yes, her normal tree - the one she rarely ventured past, though sometimes did. She had many good memories here, and she hoped today would make another. Briefly she pondered if the lion Hia was still around. She hoped so.
Any more crushing and the salve would've been ruined, thankfully he'd snapped out of his stupor soon enough to save it. This wasn't normal for Hia. He didn't get that lost in thought, but his mind kept revisiting the time with Chozi and soon enough he found himself longing for her company once more. Little did he know, that would happen...and soon.
With a big stretch the large male grunts then turns and spots someone off in the distance. Watching intently he soon finds himself bounding toward the one in his thoughts, a happy chuffing noise heard as he stops short then bumps muzzle with her. "Hello! It has been a little...I have missed you."

Chozi beamed happily when she saw the lion still near the tree. She giggled when their noses bumped and gave a pleased hum. "I've missed you too, Hia," she returned. "I hope you haven't been just waiting around for me to return," She would feel extremely bad if that were the case.
The small cheeton bumped against the lion a bit, nuzzling along his side. He was larger than she was, and his fur felt nice against hers. "How've you been?"
