[prp] Action phonies unite! (Reaper and Double Dare)

Heights had never been a problem for Reaper or even an interest. Being a pegasus meant he could leap off of tall buildings without batting an eyelash. There was no need to fear falling when you had wings, not that the stallion ever really feared many things. Of course, this excluded issues involving a certain mare, which he would of course deny. So, seeing the large carousel near a cliffside was really nothing unusual.

Today the large stallion had decided to take a break from actually mugging people and instead look for shiny things in the sand. People were after all prone to losing things at the beach and this would keep the other carousel's off his back. An easy way to get out of trouble was always to said he found whatever pretty object and this way it would at least be true some of the time. Unfortunately, digging through the sand was not actually that entertaining and Reaper was rapidly growing bored.

With a grunt the carousel stepped out of his current hole looking dissatisfied as he peeked around for something of more interest.

Not too far away an Earth phony was standing at the edge of a cliff sniffing about. Looking this way and that, he took a moment to let the wind blow through his short mane gauging the winds speeds and which way it was blowing. Finding that it was in his favor, Dare nodded to himself satisfied with the outcome thus far. He took an extra moment to make preparations, noting the gap between the cliff he was standing on and the one opposite of him. "Cuttin' it a bit close there...." He muttered to himself but didn't seem too interested or aware of the Pegasus close by. Marking an X at the end of the cliff he began to walk up the hill stopping once he reached the top. With a deep intake of breath his chest puffed out broadly before he exhaled a calming breath.

"Alright... do or die time, Dare." Once again muttering to himself he began a leisure trot speeding up more and more as he began his gallop down the hill. In no time he was moving at quite the speed. His objective seemed obvious and the X where he marked seemed to be the jump off point (literally). A smart phony would be able to pick up what this stallion was up to but it would still seem rather odd considering his Earth status and obvious lack of wings.

Sorry for taking so long on this @_@ rl has been a mess.

Reaper was about to start digging a hole, already regretting not having stolen a metal detector, when he noticed a brief glimmer of movement on the cliffside nearby him. The stallion stopped what he was doing and squinted at the shape, his wings giving a twitch in reaction to his curiosity.

Was that- Was that a phony up there? A wingless one too. What did they think they were doing? Suicide? Could phony even die? Maybe they couldn't and all phony should just do dangerous things because they would be perfectly fine minus a few scuffs.

The large carousel smirked just thinking about it before making a running take off. He certainly wanted to know what this phony was thinking. Maybe take any valuables off the fellow's hooves before they could try to end themselves.

The stallion was quite determined to continue his forward movements. They only seemed to get faster and faster as his eyes remained ever on his goal. Dare only briefly noted a movement out the corner of his eyes but he didn't dare look away least he miss his mark. Thankfully he did not miss his mark and gave a rather impressive leap from his marked spot onward into the air. If only he had wings it would be wondrous to fly but he knew better.

Hoping his momentum would propel him further on, he closed his eyes briefly taking in the sting of fresh air, crisp yet thin being so high. Only when he felt a sudden pull in the wrong direction did he open his eyes to note the cliff was just a few feet from where his heavy form was not taking a rather quick change of directions. "No no no nonooooo! AWWWWssshhiitt!!!" The scream could easily be heard thanks to the echoing valley but that was far from Dare's mind as he noted the ground below and how eager it was waiting to greet him. "Damn it!! A little help here!" He shouted hoping anyphony was available for much need rescuing. If he survived this he'd be sure to check his calculations a little more thoroughly.

Well, there the phony went. Now that he was a bit closer he could see the idiotic creature was a striped earth stallion, he tumbled through the air like a leaf, at the mercy of gravity. It wasn't long before the stranger regretted his choice. Didn't they say everyone who tries to kill themselves regrets it?

As the cries reached the carousel's ears he grimaced. He was really the only phony he'd ever seen that could actually help this idiot by themselves, given his type. Carousel's were made for carrying after all and being a carousel with wings, well that was something special. However, the dark stallion really really hated helping others. It practically went against his very, unless you were Valkyrie that is and if Valkyrie knew he'd just left some phony to plummet to his doom... She very likely wouldn't talk to him for a very long time.

The stallion grunted bitterly, flapping his wings more ferociously as he dove to catch up to the jumper. The words "someone didn't think this out," escaping his lips as he neared the falling stallion, trying to position himself so the other male could reach out to him (assuming he was smart enough to do so).
