As amused as Aeroniel was watching Hjortur flounder, there was no point in holding the leech of a man on any longer. He was the one who had initiated this conversation, was he not? Aeroniel had just been unlucky enough to be in the same hallway as Hjortur was swimming. Of course she had been unlucky enough to do that. Why could she never find any place where she could have some peace and quiet?
That was all she wanted. A place where she didn't have to think and she didn't have to hear anyone else think, either. Her mind was never silent, always buzzing. Even now, it was buzzing. For someone who was supposedly so charming with his music, Hjortur seemed to get awfully awkward around authority. He was acting like he hadn't a clue how to behave when it came to ending a conversation other than swish his tail awkwardly and attempt to smile.
Aeroniel may not have been particularly good at emotion herself, but she could read it well in others. After all, she had been raised around other naiad, typically very emotional people ... and her best friend was Tariel on top of that.
"Alright." Was he waiting on some kind of signal from her? "You're free to go, if you want."
o0_Daisuke_0o Aeroniel is such a stick in the mud, I'm sorry. XD

Yes, he had been waiting on a signal from her. As soon as she offered it, he seemed to get swimming faster than a naiad being chased by a shark out in the ocean. Aeroniel chuckled quickly, shaking her head. It was, admittedly, rather funny to see people so intimidated by her on a regular basis, especially the ones that proclaimed themselves to be so charming or so polite and of courtly manner. Perhaps she wouldn't tell them that, though. It would be dreadful if they decided to stop...
For a few moments, Aeroniel watched Hjortur retreat, finally relaxing when she could no longer make out what he was thinking... some peace and quiet.
Ah.
Though perhaps she should find a location a bit further from Hjortur's home grounds. If she stayed there too long, she was just bound to get run into again ... and so, she decided to go find the library.
o0_Daisuke_0o No problem! Aeroniel's posts are a lot of inner dialog too. x3 That was fun!
