User ImageWell... he had already snuck out once... tonight... and he didn't really want to have a repeat of it in order to take this girl out for a date. It wasn't as if he would get in more trouble for coming home any later, after all he was probably in as much as he could get. The whole idea of taking a girl on a date made him nervous as well, that was apparently Hemi's thing, so he also kind of wanted to get it over and out of the way.

With those things figured out, Chal decided that the best thing to do was to to have their date immediately following the session of truth or dare. Despite him being nervous and wanting to get the date over with, he wasn't going to be completely thoughtless about the experience, his father had taught him better than that. It was his first date, and it was probably the girl's first date too, and even if nothing came of it he wanted her to be able to say it was a good experience.

After the game was over, Chal walked over to her (he still didn't know her name). Pushing the silver hair back from his eyes, "Hey... do you want to maybe do that date thing now?" He asked her. His nervousness was slightly apparent, even if he did his best not to show it.

Alma had enjoyed the game on the most part, she was still worried about that cake dare but there was nothing for it now. With the game over the poor Nashe could finally get a break from the bottle. Though she sort of thought the other should take it since it loved her so much.

Planning on going back to hang out with her new friend Beau, Alma wasn't aware of Chel being near her until he spoke. With a small 'huh' of surprise she looked up from her seat to the male. Blinking her blue eyes in confusion a moment, she had honestly considered the dare ended at the asking of a date. He was really going to go through with it?

Smiling brightly she started to stand as she offered her name, "Sure, I am Alma by the way." She'd missed his name when his brother said it, she could only assume he didn't know hers. Names were really exchanged much this game. Made it a little awkward to play with people she didn't know but this was a party after all.

Chal was relieved when Alma gave him her name, that would have been awkward for him to ask. At least he wasn't rejected either, "Great, my name is Chal." He responded. "I was thinking maybe we could steal some food from the table and get out of here." He suggested to her... it had sounded so much more... romantic... in his head than coming out of his mouth, but it was too late to take it back. He definitely wanted to get out of here, he saw all the craziness that was going on outside of their game and understood exactly why his parents would not want he and his brothers to be here.

"Nice to meet you, Chel." Bringing up a hand to run through the back of her hair, she found the lingering frosting and knocked it off. They hadn't exactly just met, had a whole game together. However, what better phrase could she use? Looking back to her date, she smiled brightly, "Sounds like a great plan!" The food here was pretty good and it would be nice to go somewhere quieter.

She too had noticed the crazy behavior of everyone, just attributed it to adults being weird.

Well acquainted with the snack table, Alma happily lead the way. Even with everyone having a chance to pick over, there was still a great spread. She didn't waste any time, taking a plate and helping herself to mostly sweets with some fruits thrown in there for good measure.

Chal smiled, so far she was going along with what he was planning. That was good, he doubted Hemi's 'girl' would have been so interested and the nervous girl wouldn't be so excited. It certainly helped to put this teen at ease.

He followed her to the food table and began to load up a plate as well. If he was going to be bad... he might as well go all the way. Chal loaded up his plate with sweets, and the occasional healthy food items for the inevitable sugar overload.

Once there plates were both good and full, he led the exit away from the party. Chal was quiet, unsure of what to say... and he could feel the awkwardness of the quiet. "Well that was an interesting game... I have never done anything quite like that." Chal said honestly. It hadn't been as thrilling for him as he hoped and he felt like he hurt his brother by doing it.

When they came to a clearing, Chal stopped. He wished he had a blanket, if he had done this in the future he would have brought a blanket like his parents always did for their picnic's, but this would have to do. "This okay?" Chal asked, looking up at the starry sky.

Smiling at his food choices, she was thrilled she wasn't the only one going head long into another sugar rush. Normally this amount of sweets was out of the question, but it was a special occasion that might not come around again.

Humming to herself, she let her wings flutter behind her. Oh he was right about that game, "I've never played that game before. My friend Beau said the only way to lose was to forfeit." Never one to lose, she'd done a thing or two that was going to get in her in big trouble later. But she didn't back down!

Never one to be fussy, the teen settled herself onto the soft ground putting her plate to the right of her and patting the ground to the left, "Its perfect!" She had to look up at him to say that, and when she did, she fully saw the stars, "Oh wow its beautiful!" Usually she was asleep before it got to be this dark, maybe it was just her but the sky looked better then she could recall. The stars really shined on Venus's day, it seemed.

Chal had never even thought about losing as an option... he probably could have lied or said no to any dare he had gotten, even this one... it was a thought that had not crossed his mind. "That was pretty crazy how you destroyed that cake..." Chal mused, maybe he would have said no if he had a dare like that. It would have been a lot more daring then this.

Chal sat down on her left side, after she had patted there. "Yeah... it's pretty nice." He agreed. Preferring to stare at the sky rather then his date. Not that she wasn't pretty like the sky, it just made him nervous when he glanced over at her.

The music was softly coming from the party, slightly disturbing the peace of the night, but it wasn't horrible either. Chal shoved a cookie in his mouth, perhaps to give himself a good excuse as to why he wasn't talking much.

Alma ruffled the back of her short red hair as she gave a nervous chuckle, "Yeah, Tora-momma is going to ground me for life for that one. I thought it would knock a little bit and be okay." There was no malicious intent behind the behavior, but there was no way she could lose!

Picking up a piece of chocolate, the teen hummed a little bit with her wings slowly flapping behind her. As she bobbed her head a little to soft music an idea came to mind. What pae did on dates she had no clue, but what they did at parties she knew, "Say, Chel do you dance?" He had her full attention as she awaited his answer.

Tora-momma? He had to assume that was what she called his mother, it was an interesting title with the way she said it though. "Well, its not like she would find out right?" It hadn't seemed like her parent was at the dance, or if she was that would be kind of strange. It wasn't like how he would be grounded for life for even disappearing like that.

"Uhm..." if dancing was what those adults were doing in there... he had no idea how to dance. However, he was certain she didn't mean that kind of dancing. "I can, but its not something I do often." Chal answered. "Did you at least get a taste of it? The cake... I mean."

That was a wonder, would anyone tell her momma what she had done? The writing on the wall and the cake, though the cake seemed the bigger of the crime. "If Tora-momma asks what happened, I'll have to tell her." Sure she'd be in trouble, but hiding something from Tora was unthinkable.

Listening to the beat few moments she smiled and asked him, "Well, do you want to dance? I think a new song is about to start. I can show you the moves to a slow dance if you want." The broom was find practice, but as Beau had shown her, dancing was much more fun with a partner. As bright as the sky was, it was just too pretty a night to not take advantage.

Remembering the cake, she brought her hand up to check behind each ear, tucking some of her deep red hair behind both. Looking at her wings she adds, "I ended up wearing some of it. The cake smelled fantastic though, someone did a great job on it." Oh she felt bad, if she found out who made it she'd have to try and make it up to them.

Chal was surprised, but he could respect the fact that she was honest with her parent. Chal would be too once he got home.

"Oh!" When she had asked about the dancing earlier, that had been his hint to ask her to dance and he had completely missed it. Dad would never have missed an opportunity like that. "Yeah, we should dance." He smiled at her, attempting to take the lead from there as he stood up and offered her his hand.

That was something dad would do, yes.

Giving a toothy smile, Alma gave him her hand. Using a little bit of help from her date, she stood up. With the other hand she brushed off a little bit of grass that came up with her. Not that being dirty had ever bothered her before.

Cocking her head to side she listened quietly to the first few beats of the song before deciding it was indeed perfect. Casting her eyes up a moment at the natural light, she brought them down again to look directly at her date.

With the free hand placed on his shoulder, she waited to see if he knew what to do. It was only polite to give him the chance to lead. Two dances in one night, this was indeed one of the best nights of her life!

Chal would have shrunk back, but he was trying so hard to be like dad. Hemi probably would have been much better at this sort of thing. She kind of looked kind of pretty when she looked up at the sky, and when she looked at him it suddenly terrified him and his own eyes looked away.

Now to figure out where to put his hands. Dad always put his hands on mom's waist... but they knew each other better than he knew Alma. He ended up putting his hands on her shoulders, looking awkward as he adjusted until it was comfortable.

He gave her an uncertain smile and then began moving slowly side to side, keeping in time to the music with a good mile in between their bodies.

Frowning as he looked away, the confused teen wondered if he didn't like her. As she furrowed her brow, she titled her head to the side trying to read his behavior. The date was a dare, but surely he had to like her even a little bit to actually go through with it. He could be like her, not wanting to lose.

Or maybe she had to up her game? Unsure how dates worked exactly, it was still obvious she must be doing something wrong. With that in mind she put her own hands on his shoulders but wouldn't allow the distance.

Stepping forward, she kept sway with him but closed the distance. While her eyes showed worry, she could get him to smile as well.

It was silently awkward. If the music had been a bit louder he might be able to get away without talking, but due to how quiet it was he felt obligated. While, he wasn't as quiet at his brother, Malek, on a normal basis, he felt at a loss of what to say to the girl who was... dancing closer to him than before.

Chal gulped. He knew he wasn't doing as good as this as he should. It was the girl's first date (he thought), he was responsible for making it special. He should be braver than this. Chal moved a little bit closer, watching her as he did, in case it wasn't ok. He didn't want a repeat of Hemi and that one girl to happen.

"You're a good dancer." He complemented her, unsure of what else to say.
