[Fairy Snails]

Caelius (Cael for short) opened one of his eyes and glanced around the den. His siblings seemed to be fast asleep. Quietly and slowly he got up and attempted to tip-toe around his siblings. This was a tough feet seeing as he wasn't the most graceful cub around. He managed to bump into his siblings only a couple times before making it to the entrance. One of his siblings might wake up because of him bumping into them, but he would worry about that later. There was adventure to be had!

The sun was only starting to rise as he looked out. His tail flickered from side to side as he watched it rise. “It's so beautiful!” He said with quiet excitement. Taking soft steps, he left the entrance of the den. He knew not go go too far, but it was too nice of a day to spend sleeping in!

Club Snails

A foot kicking him in the back startled the young hybrid into wakefulness. "Nnnn ughat?" He mumbled as he blinked sleepily around. The white disappearing tail of his brother going out of the entrance brought him fully awake. Oh no, Cael wasn't going out without him!

The winged male rolled over and heaved himself to his feet. He snuck out quietly, so he didn't wake his mother and other siblings. Coeus bounded out of the den and nearly ran into his brother's back end.

"Hey! Whacha doing out here? What's pretty?" He peered around curiously.

Everything was so quiet, so peaceful, then he heard one of his brothers. He glanced over. “Shhhhh, we don't want to wake the others.” Cael said, trying to be quiet but failing miserably. He was just to excited to be quiet. “It's the sun Coeus! Look at it! It's so big and yellow and amazing.” He was having a hard time standing still as he was watching it.

The young hybrid glanced behind him. The others seemed to be sleeping, or at least pretending to. “Hey Coeus, wanna go on an adventure?” He asked eagerly. “I think we can make it down to the waterhole and back before mom wakes up. Wouldn't that be fun!” It would probe that they really had grown up! That they were mature enough to go out on fun adventures.
