They were young, only a few months old now. They were the newest additions to Sky clan and their parents had been eagerly awaiting their arrival, or at least that's what Skoll figured by how his parents acted around them. It was odd though, having a mute father, but it meant he would get good at charades and guessing what he needed. Besides, Skoll liked seeing his father's drawing in the ground. Some times it was hard to leave behind the drawings when the clan had to move on. He wasn't really sure why they moved or why he didn't see the others clans that his mother told him about, but there was a festival coming up where he would finally get to meet them.

Finally the sun was just beginning to break over the horizon by this point, the sky still hues of pinks, purples and light orangs. The sun's light started to peak through his closed eyes and just as quickly the young cub was awake. As he turned to look around, it looked like he was the first of his family to even wake. Perfect. Next target was his mother.

"Moooother!" Young Skoll called out as he stood on his hind legs, putting his paws on her side, trying to shake her awake. "Mom, hey mom. Mooom, it's morning, come on. Hati and I wanna go play!" He glanced to Hati, the black bundle that was the opposite of his white fur, as he spoke. "Right Hati?"

The black sibling's ears twitched at his brother's voice. He shifted, rolling over, before finally raising his head to look over at his twin. It seemed like barely any time had passed since he had fallen asleep, but that certainly didn't out a stopper on the seemingly boundless energy. With a yawn and a quick stretch he got to his paws and trotted over to his brother, playfully shouldering the twin aside. "Can we go play?" He questioned as well.

Talasi's eyes opened slightly, a smile on her maw as she looked at the twins. "Yes, yes. Go on and play. But don't wander too far, I want you both to stay in sight.

"YES!" Came the exclamation from Skoll that was loud enough to cause at least one of his sisters and his father to stir as well. He quickly turned to Hati, a grin already on his face as he looked his twin in the face. "Race ya to the tree!" Half-way through the sentence, he was already off. He wasn't the fast one so cheating was okay, right? He was a little on the pudgier side, but that was just thanks to cub fat. It meant he was healthy; at least that's what mom kept telling him. He had other doubts, like his mom was just trying to keep him closer so she was fattening him up so he could go anywhere. At least Hati would be there to roll him around if that was the case!

'The tree', of course he was speaking of their usual tree that they used as a hang out point. Well, usual was a relative statement. The first thing they did when the clan migrated was find 'the usual tree' where they would meet; just in case they got lost. It was something Skoll had thought up, maybe out of selfish reasons due to hating being away from his twin. It was always a tall tree with a pretty thick trunk and waving limbs; perfect for climbing. This one happened to have a little bit of thorny brush around it, so they had to be careful this time.

They had the okay to go off and play, and they certainly didn't need telling twice. Before he even knew it Skoll was off, and Hati was quickly following after him. "Hey, no fair!" He called out after his twin, racing after the other cub as they made their way towards the large tree that had this time around been designated at their meet up point. Laughter rose from the black cub as he bounded after his brother, trying to get closer to him. Slowly he crept up on his twin, gaining on the other cub, before leaping forward to pounce. "Got you!" He cried as he fell atop Skoll, though the momentum sent him rolling off and along the grass before coming to a halt on his back.

Hati panted, laughing softly as he tried to catch his breath. "So," He spoke between pauses to catch his breath. "Where are we going to explore this time?"

A yelp burst from Skoll's mouth as his brother tackling him sent him rolling. Ending up on his chest and his tail in his face. Blowing air upwards, the fur parted slightly, enough for him to grin at his twin before finally hopping back on his paws. His chest was heaving, trying to catch his breath but he was smiling widely, his eyes shifting between looking at Hati and looking at 'the tree' in the distance."I saw a bird nest in the tree the other day. We should see if there are any eggs!" Everything seemed to excite the young cub; even a nest. Luckily the two weren't that far off from the tree when Hati decided to jump on him. "Come on, I'll show you."

He jogged over to the tree, putting his front paws on his, stretching his body out as he stood on his two back paws. Craning his neck, he tried to look up into the winding branches above them. "I know I saw one in there the other day..."

Hati rolled over adn pulled himself back onto his feet, turning to look curiously at the tree. "Really?" He trotted after his twin, stretching out to place his own paws against the tree's trunk and trying to spot these eggs his brother spoke of. "Where is the mom bird?" He asked curiously, glancing around before searching through the branches once more.

"I know...I saw them...up there!" Skoll grunted between words as the little cub struggled to begin his ascent. No tree would hold him back! That nest had to be up there somewhere since it wasn't laying on the ground which was the only other place it could have been. The white cub frowned as he finally got up into the first indention of the tree, hardly higher then where his mother could have just easily placed him if she had gotten onto her hind paws.
