Drew Shade never gave up on what he was determined to do. He had to figure out who he was and what he could accomplish in this life. If football wasn't the answer, something else had to be. His father wasn't much of a support anymore, so he looked to his grandpa as a father figure for several months. The nights he spent on his old wooden porch, drinking scotch with the old man and hearing stories about his service in the Army. Drew hadn't given the military much thought, but after listening to his grandpa talk for hours about bravery, Drew made up his mind. He found himself a recruiter and started boot camp in the summer. All seemed to be going well and Drew enjoyed the few friends he made there. With his stature and charm, he would have made the perfect soldier if it weren't for the accident. The boy wasn't handling his gun correctly and shot himself in the leg, leaving the captain to immediately evacuate him from the premises. After his visit to the hospital, he was sent word that he could come back whenever he wanted to finish training, but he decided against it. He had been gone from home long enough and he needed to finish his last year of highschool.

Drew woke up in the morning to the smell of cupcakes baking in the oven in the kitchen and "The Notebook" playing in the living room. If you couldn't tell he lived with a bunch of women in one house, the doily's and potpourri sure as hell would give it away. Drew had pulled on his usual black leather jacket before kissing his mother goodbye and leaving to go to school for the day. It would be nice to get into a familiar routine, instead of waking up to the sound of a horn that nearly gave him a heart attack each morning and then beginning rigorous training exercises. The only exercise he wanted to take part in this year, was the one that took place in bed. Smirking to himself, he walked out of the house and jumped into his 1949 Mercury Street Rod. It was indeed built to look like the original from the movie Grease, which gave him more of that bad boy look when he tried pulling off the Danny Zuko look. He pulled up to his old high school and jumped out. Leaning against the hood of the car, he pulled out a cigarette and took a puff before the first bell.

Alexa was so excited to get ready for college for the fall next year. Her mom was tearing up cause of her baby leaving the nest and leaving her to go 45 miles away to learning. Alexa or Lexa as she would prefer to be called, was more excited to get away from school Her pretty brown eyes looked at her mother as she gave a smile. Then she hugged her mother and gave a kiss on the cheek. This was her new life as a future designer was about to begin. She was thinking on what to do when she got away from her home. Alexa was the good girl and often did what she had to do to get around school. She did no worng and learn to do the right thing instead of giving into peer pressure. She was anyone's average good girl and any one would love to be around. Alexa kissed her mother and entered her 2001 Chevy Grand Prix after she left the house and drove off to got get her friends Alyson and Nicole.

After picking them up, she drove to the school with time to spare for them to got to their lockers and hurry off to class. Alexa waved at everyone who said hey to her and went to the lunch room. She needed to eat something or else she will fall asleep in class and Lexa knew she couldn't risk that. She picked up a few pieces of french toast and ate as she went to her first period. She seen that her friends had left her a seat so she just walked towards the empty desk and sat down.
