Ingvar had been alone in the deep forests, a past time he enjoyed since travelling with his practically-a-sister Kadenze took up most of his time. She had needed him around her, though she had been wandering off on her own the past little while. Possibly to see her late lifemate she really only had shy of 3 months, so to see his grave not so much him.
Ingvar's heterochromia set of eyes glanced around the forest calmly as he stood there mostly along. The only companions he had around him was the sound of an owl, one of his rescued birds Eilu.. and a young chickadee who mocked the hooting of Eilu, Tomsa. A sleeping young phoenix-looking songbird sat on his back, curled in his own feathers; Duskbreak. The only one of them that could talk the language of Soquili. Though for some reason Ingvar understood 'bird' and could talk to Eilu and Tomsa.

He enjoyed his calm stay in the forest. Though he wasn't hard to miss by passing Soquili or other beasts. The lovely scent of a perfect Vanilla candle stretched around him. If he was a predatorial beast it'd be near impossible for the Kirin/Draft Normal cross to hunt. Though he could stop the seeping, or most of it, he let it happen. The wax didn't stay though. For some reason the wax on his body was an actual wax his fur created but the moment it hit the ground it would only stay for a good amount of time; say 5-10 minutes depending on how much hit the ground. Then it would dissipate like as if it was a melting candle that even though; unwicked, had a constant battle with an inner flame that continued to melt it to nothing.

Trees, trees and more trees, that were all the mare could see for miles and miles in her sight. Well really she could only see a few yards because then the trees would just overlap completely but at that moment the entire land was made up of nothing but trees.

“Why couldn’t you have been a bird Scrappy?” The mare asked as she looked left to right and sighed. “Or why can’t these tree shrubs talk. If they could talk we could have been out of here but nooooo they just had to be stupid and not speak soquili.” There was a question if there was some sort of magical spell that would allow her to make the tree talk, or even better if she could speak tree. Speaking tree would be rather cool gift to have.

“Hmph, why don’t you have wings?” The hare replied as he leapt to her side and sniffed at the ground.

The mare turned and glared at her little companion “Because Terror has magic and magic in the end is cooler than being able to fly.”

“Pfft, magic if only,” The hare muttered underneath his breath as the mare finally decided to head in a particular direction. He was pretty sure that they had been that way before and there was a good chance that they were going to end up there again at the rate Terror was going.

“Hey do you smell that? It smells like……….. coco.” She replied as the brim of the red hat flapped up as she sniffed the air.

“It’s not coco its vanilla,” The hair sharply replied, “and its coming from this way.”

He felt safe under the trees, the thick pine smell was comforting to him, which is funny since the vanilla smell usually comforted others. Maybe he was a predator.. Without fangs? Hm that didn't seem to fit. Trees were just natural to him, also it gave his bird friends places to perch. Upon hearing banter in the forest Ingvar squinted to see if he could see beyond the trees. But nothing. He did smell her though.

When Ingvar turned his head abruptly to the sound; well not so much abruptly but to Duskbreak any movement while sleeping was abrupt. "You make an awful bed Ingvar." The overly fancy bird huffed. As he woke up, Dusk would fluff out and his mane would flare up in a mohawk sort of fashion.
Soon enough Ingvar's ears began to warm and he'd sneeze a few times. Maybe someone was talking about him.
As the hare said 'it's vanilla' Dusk had left Ingvar's side and swooped around the mare and the hare. "It's a viciously large vanilla-wax-seeping creature some would consider part Kirin. Bewareee." The bird mocked their concern of the smell of vanilla in the air.

As the figure came into few Terror peered at it in curiosity, her brows raised as if rather confused by the sight. Without a doubt she was sure she smelled coco, yet instead of a large field or something filled with it, a large white stallion was before her. Scrappy seemed to have the same look on his face, but more so with a just one raised brow as if he couldn’t exactly believe that the scent came from him.

As the bird swooped around Terror let out a little hiss before getting ready to sprint as fast as her legs could carry her through the non-talkative forest. There was little chance that she would stay near anything that would eat her, let alone anything that came swooping out of no where screeching at her. Flirty and skittish maybe? But hey for Terror it had saved her hide more than just a few times and you only lived once in her world.

“Vicious? Something vanilla scented is Vicious? What does it do eat things?” The hare asked, the same still questionable look lingered on his face as he stood up on his hind legs. “Then why are the birds still alive?”

Being not so far from the announcement made by his daft bird to the red mare he had seen between the greenery around them he shook his head slowly. Letting them ask the questions and moving towards them slowly. His eyes looking at his bird.
Daft bird.

Dusk landed down on a branch and chuckled. "Well he is a dolt when it comes to hunting birds... Of course. And no he absorbs things with his wax-residue. That's how he eats."
Without further notice Ingvar wasn't very far now, he spoke. "Pay no mind to my daft bird of a friend." He spoke in a foreign accent. His bi-coloured eyes steadied on the red mare and then down to the hare. "My wax disintegrates before I can 'eat anything' with it." Even though he was irritated with Dusk he spoke calmly, almost like the warmth he had in his heart just registered through his words.
"Also I don't have the heart for meat." Looking for a moment at Dusk Break. "Or you'd be the first one to go." Dusk giving him what seemed to be a bird's sneer in response.
