Military of Kaze ||
xxx► General ||
The generals work directly under the king. They have proven themselves on the field of combat and have shown to be both loyal and tactful. Only one general stands, currently, but if the military grows, there may be more added to the military.
◘ Vilhelm | Thalion | Uncert | ♂ |
Vilhelm was among the first to join Sion. Prior to his king's ascention of the throne, Vilhelm and his mother were found among the wilds scraping by on what they could. When brought under Sion, Vilhelm found new purpose in his life. He takes his job very seriously and is known for his voltile nature. He's a compassionate soul but on the field of battle he's as predictable as a whirlwind.
xxx►Colonel ||
The colonels serve directly under the Generals and serve as his second in command. They can have up to five captains under them but typically are encouraged to keep only three. They carry out the general's orders in his absence and are generally signed to one providence to act as the region's authority.
◘ Ashur | Thalion | Uncert | ♂ | [ Captain of the Northern Providence ]
Ashur was originally from a pride within the swamps. When he set out on his naming mission, it took nearly a year for him to discover a name for himself. When he returned, however, it was to his homeland having been burnt do ash. Heartbroken, Ashur spent many months looking for any sign of his family or former pride. Distraught, and on the threshold of surrender, he encountered Sion, Vilhelm, and Kefira in the wildlands. With no home to return to, he joined them and soon gained the respect of the king's chosen general, Vilhelm. Ashur is a kind and meek soul but he's no slouch on the battlefield. He really has no ambition to climb up in rank. He's found a place and he's more than happy to keep things as they are.
◘ Gaddith | Thalion | Uncert | ♂ | [ Captain of the Eastern Providence ]
Formally a firekin, a Huria due to his name, Gaddith is a tank of a lion from an old noble line. He's laid back, despite his rough upbringing, and during his time as a Dawn Walker, he made several friends. One of which being his now-queen. He has a good nature, a playful spirit, but in battle he's a force to be reckoned with.

xxx►Captains ||
The captains serve directly under the Colonel of their providence. They're in charge of training and commanding the soldiers under them. There are typically 2-5 captains per Colonel.
xxx►Lieutenant ||
The Lieutenants are the 'lead guards' of the pride. They have proven themselves as more valuable fighters than the common soldier and are often trusted with the higher-risk missions. They serve under their captain.
◘ Ryner Lute | Tahja Estes | Uncert | ♂ | [ Lieutenant ]
Ryner Lute was an old friend of Sion's but the two went their separate ways nearing adulthood. Ryner landed himself in frequent trouble and it eventually caught up with him. Sentenced to die, he found himself being pardoned with the condition that he follow an escort back to his new charge. He was shocked and bewildered to find that his new charge was none other than his old friend- now king. Ryner is exceedingly lazy and, if he had his way, would sleep days on end. However...for some reason he seems to lose control of himself on the field of battle when pushed too far. At these times it's almost as if he's under a curse...
◘ Kefira | Thalion | Uncert | ♀ | [ Lieutenant under Ashur ]
Mother of Vilhelm, Kefira is a small, young lioness with a fighter's spirit. She has very little formality in her fighting style and even less tact in the face of nobility and authority. She's wild and reckless in battle and despite her small stature, has survived quite a few ordeals in her short lifetime.
xxx►Sergeants (Soldiers & Guards) ||
The Sergeants are the majority of the guards. They follow orders, provide the bulk of the military, and mobilize against threats to the kingdom.
xxx►Privates (Trainees) ||
When an individual enters the military, this is the rank they sit at until they prove themselves capable of taking on guard duty.
Pride Traditions ||
◘ The King's Birthday ||
This festival will start out... strangely and become something of a tradition and a game through the pride. Soon to be introduced as an opening meta, Sion's birthday will dawn and he will be nowhere to be found. His queen will insist that her husband be brought back to the Wind Palace so the kingdom can properly celebrate. To accomplish this, she will ask all within the kingdom to stage a search for the king. Whomever finds him, and hauls him back, will get a special prize and the thanks of the queen.
The sad thing is, Sion does not want to celebrate. He's married to his work and will do everything in his power to avoid "wasting time" on even his own birthday so he will slip from the palace grounds in the dead of night and hide himself so he can be productive. Within a few years, this will become a tradition and something of a comical game to everyone.
Everyone except Sion.
