I'd say Projectiles are fine. Pole arms & Staffs are probably fine. (though I think emmaline should go under polearms, seems just like a small mistake XD)

Swords could just as easily be large bladed weapons, short bladed weapons & fist weapons (this way things like axes can be covered). Also an 'Other' for people with things like shields & nets, etc. Which also may cover some already on the list like bladed yo-yo & gauntlet + hookshot. Non traditional weapons.

And for the record I think this is a good idea since people seem to like using an 'original' weapon idea.
