Mikey, on the other hand, was an avid fan of being warm and he’d piled on the layers, the furs wrapped around him almost as big as his hair. Not that anything could quite compare to the blonde mane the werewolf rocked, but his outfit certainly gave his long locks a run for their money. The little figure tucked against the tree caught his eye as he walked along the path towards the buildings, and Mikey couldn’t help but saunter over, curious about the sort of creature that would willingly sit in the cold to read. Well, the wanting to read alone would have confused him, the location just taking things to a whole new level.
“Hey little dude,” his voice rang out, a smooth tenor, as he place a clawed hand on the tree, leaning over the little boil. “Little cold out, ain’t it?”

With the wind providing a sort of white noise to his fluffy ears, Jove didn't notice the boil approaching until he felt that sense of something looming over him... He turned to look straight up, his freckled face showing momentary surprise. Fluffy ears flicked backwards. Usually when he parked himself somewhere inhospitable other students left him alone, whether they thought he was a frost demon, or knew he was a ghost, or simply didn't care, it all meant Jove was usually safe to study.
But how could he go back to his book with a giant hair-monster leaning over him? Jove snorted lightly in a matter-of-factly manner, combined with his expectant expression as though saying "Yes, did you need me for something?"
He took note of the page number and closed his book, a heavy, leather bound tome that looked too large under his small fingers. The title was "Complex FEARhealing: Assessment and Analysis of Incorporeal Ailments". The pup tried to remain nonchalant about it all, but having someone (with so much hair!) hovering over him was making him a little uneasy.

“Naw, nothing at all,” Mikey grinned, nudging Jove over a little bit as he settled down beside him. Mikey was always one to act first, and ask questions later, and as he turned to the small student, he did exactly that.
“You don’t mind the cold then? Wouldn’t you rather read in the library? Whoa, that’s a mouthful,” he jabbered, catching the title of the pup’s book. Healing was always good, he supposed, but he’d much rather practice it than read about it. Besides, his new sitting buddy seemed to be cramming an awful lot for what he assumed was a first year.
“Big test coming up, little dude?” he asked, as he leaned back against the tree, folding his hands behind his head.
