Shadowed Moon yawned, he'd spent much of the night wandering, and was still a little tired after waking up. The sun had been up for a while, and right now he was mostly wondering. Moon Phase and Evergreen Berry had been asleep when he'd left, so he'd left them behind with the rest of the herd. Though, knowing them, they might find there way over to where he was. Especially Moon Phase, he was almost to smart for his own good. Blinking a few times the light buck looked around, and stared down into the swampy water, almost expecting the caiman to pop out at any moment. When this didn't happen he nodded a bit and glanced back to where he had slept.
Maybe he should head back? He felt like exploring a bit more, but wasn't sure which way to go. The hill he had slept on was above him now, and he'd only gotten up after the sun became to bright to stand. He started walking around the hill, trying to decide which direction to head. It also was waking him up, something he would need if he wanted to be able to think at all. Glancing toward the trees he pawed the ground a bit. Maybe he'd head that way? It would be shaded, and not nearly as bright. However, it was back the way he came, which would shorten his walk quite a bit. Maybe he'd head through the water? It would be cool, and didn't seem much deeper then ankle height. He pawed the ground once more and sighed, glancing around again. What to do?
