Rolling her shoulders, Kali was finding herself in the mortal realm once more, eyes lazily tracing the ground before her as she walked. She was a little bored, but that wasn't really a new fact of life for her. Being young and mischievous, her energy levels were always high, but her environment seldom entertained her. These days, she tended to walk around in her mortal form - she found that it was easier to trick unsuspecting mortals that way. In this form, she was a little smaller than a normal lioness, but she was still pretty intimidating with her bone scythe and unusually long hair. At the very least, she looked like a crazy person. But she kind of liked that.

She did miss having her wings out, though. There was something so nice about being able to stretch them out and sometimes even fan herself with them. How did mortals even survive this long like this? She could only go a few days before she reverted to her normal form. She was just about at her limit this time - she'd give it to the end of the day, and then she'd go back. Yeah, that sounded nice.

Stretching out, she walked slowly, hoping she'd bump into an unsuspecting mortal before the day was out.

Dubhshith has wandered from his home range, thumping along with his usual grumpy expression plastered onto his face. One might take one look and think that was his permanent face. They would.. be about half right, as there are rare times that the earthy pelted male had others looks, but for the most part, he was a brooding fellow. The only silver lining in his life so far, was the lack of mud. Now, if only his mother had not screwed up his life and also put him in charge of pampering his light skinned sister. Dubhshith still couldn't believe that! A snort slit out of his splotched nose at the thought. He was not his sisters' keeper! Especially now that the Pride had moved! Besides, it wasn't as if she couldn't hunt for herself, he'd seen that could do so quite easily. More so than himself, which was shameful enough. They all had gotten help, while he'd grown up barely knowing anything. Way to go Mom and Dad, way to go.

Coming up to a tree, Kali acted upon her feline tendencies, arching her back as she rubbed herself up against the tree's trunk. She pushed her head against it, forgetting that right now, she didn't have horns. It still felt nice, but it wasn't really the same sensation. Sliding the side of her face against the bark, Kali looked out at the grasslands with squinted eyes. Everything was so....brown. Well, there was some green, but everything was washed with the same basic color. Being an odd set of colors herself, she really hated the dull coloring of the mortal realm. Not that the haven was completely colorful, but at least all of the inhabitants were.

Pushing her lips out in a pout, she tilted her head up, rubbing the underside of her neck against the tree. It was then that she noticed a darker figure - a moving figure. Pausing all action, she watched it for a moment, ears flicking up as a small grin built on her face. Maybe today wouldn't be so bad after all. Giving one last stretch, she wobbled a few feet away from the tree, turning her wobble into a trot soon after. As she came closer and closer to the other figure, she toyed with a few ideas on how she'd play with this mortal.
