[PRP - COMPLETED] Well worth it... [Luna and Mo]

Mo was exhausted...!

He had woken up rather early this morning and left the children in Luna's loving care while he went about his "duties" for the day. His "duties" today, however were far different than normal.

After speaking with Chief Rais the night before, Mo had made up his mind. He was going to climb to the top of that tree, get Luna a flower and ask her as soon as fauningly possible!

So he did.

He had spent half the day climbing as high as the branches would let him, daring himself to not look down and taking periodic stops to collect himself along the way. This tree was far taller than he though!! But sheer desire and determination kept him climbing. Once at the top, he plucked one of the flowers after carefully examining each one. He didn't want one that was too far in bloom, and didn't want one that was still a bud, but after a moment or two of scanning the various flowers amongst the top of the tree, he found it. The perfect one! A flower who had blossomed, but the center still retained a bit of the bud! It was beautiful, just like her...

Carefully he had plucked it and tucked it safely into a small gap under the shoulder portion of his armor and slowly made his way back down. Once on more solid and sturdier ground within the walls of Laisidhiel, Mo quickly resumed his normal duties. Mostly checking in with the others living in the tree to make sure nothing too wild and crazy had happened in his momentary absence... Well, anything wild and crazy beyond whatever type of "party" one of the new 'Faunies' was concocting this time. It was a certain Pink individual that was always planning some sort of fun-filled get-together.

He made a quick stop by a friend of his - another Faunie of sorts - that he had made since their arrival and asked him and his wife of a little favor for the night. After all, it would be hard to ask Luna appropriately with even the slightest big of distraction. Needing a babysitter for this particular event was necessary, in his opinion. Much to his delight, Shining and Cadence had agreed to watch the little ones later that evening.

Mo couldn't help but be suddenly overwhelmed with butterflies as he began making his way back towards Luna's room where he had left her that morning with the kids. He only hoped that she had returned by now from whatever activity she may have taken the children to.

"Hello? Luna?" he asked as he slowly pushed open the door and began walking in. "Are you home, my Moon?"

Having stayed home with the kids after Justmo went about his daily routine, she had just tucked the kids in for a nap, her Mellon finally agreeing to not rile the kids up, the dark Princess had just sat down with a warm cup of tea to relax and get off her feet when the door opened and a familiar voice rang in her ears.

Perking up, Luna glanced to the door, the traces of a smile could be seen on her face, something she had grown accustomed to doing when it was just he and the kids around. It felt comfortable...and right. "Stallion Justmo. I am home, the kids are sleeping. Come, sit with me." she said and patted the empty seat next to her. "You look worn, let me fix you some tea." she offered sweetly, standing up to greet him at the doorway. She event went so far as to give him a quick kiss on the cheek... something else she was trying to get used too. She couldn't deny, there were feelings there after everything they went through together.

Besides... she wouldn't want their children to not have either of their parents. She was willing to make it work, at first just for them three, but now.... she was almost determined to make it work for her sake. He was like... her night. She couldn't think of any other she'd rather spend most of her days with anymore. She loved her sister to death and still respected most all the other faunies but..... no one quite made her feel more welcome and finally at home than Justmo.

Mo smiled warmly and continued into the room as quietly as he could. He knew better than to wake the children, after all. "Tea would actually be very lovely. Thank you." he returned the swift kiss on the cheek as she did.

He watched her walk towards the kettle and eventually followed her. "What say you to a nice little dinner on the cliffside tonight? Just the two of us? We haven't really had a night for just the two of us, and Prince Shining and Princess Cadence have agreed to watch the kids, if necessary." He set his weapon down on a high shelf but that was all he removed. The flower was still tucked safely under his armor and didn't want to chance her seeing it before he could ask her properly.

As he accepted the offer of tea, Luna set her's down then headed into the kitchen to pour him a cup, the pitcher still hot since she had just brewed it. A flavor she had tasted at her sisters house and decided she liked it. Once she had poured him a warm cup, she offered it to him and tilted her head. "Dinner on the cliff side?" she pondered, at this time of night? How could she refuse any excuse to get outside and possibly stay out to bathe in the moonlight. "Cadence is most generous, Twilights brother as well. I would love to join you for dinner. Could we... perhaps stay to watch the moon rise?" she asked and tilted her head, almost a bit pitiful like but with more dignity than that.

Mo smiled and chuckled as he approached to accept the tea. He set it down on the counter for a moment and gently rubbed her arms as he lifted his chin to place a soft kiss on her forehead just below her horn.

"You need to get out of my brain, my Moon." he teased and nodded. "But that was the idea."

He stepped back and took up his cup again, taking a sip of the warm soothing liquid and... Ooh! A new flavor!

"I wanted to take you on something a little more enjoyable than that last fiasco we endured..." he mentioned, briefly touching the rather touchy subject of the Valentines event. His features cringed a bit at the memory. Not that it was a bad memory, mind you! Just..... a weird one.

Brilliant! "Oh it will be a most wonderful of nights!" she beamed as he more than agreed to her being able to stay out past the kids bed times. It had been a while with the three little ones that she was able to really do that and enjoy it. She could hardly wait. "I like that we think the same, it is most acceptable." she nodded, taking a sip of her tea before it got cold and relaxing back into her seat for a brief moment.

Her own nose wrinkled at the thought of the valentines event and she tutted, casting the thoughts aside though they made her most curious.... how would it go when they were of their proper genders? Her cheeks flushed a dark purple. No no, musn't think such thoughts, she was a princess after all! "Are we do drop the kids off or will they pick them up?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

Mo finished his tea and pushed away from the wall he had chosen to lean against. "We can drop them off on the way out." He set down his now empty tea cup and retrieved his axe.

"Let them rest a bit longer. I'll be back in an hour to get you and the kids so we can head out." He walked up to her and gently laid a hand upon her shoulder. "I'll see you then, my Moon." he winked and began heading for the door again. He had to go and gather the items necessary for their Dinner anyways.

Luna smiled and nodded. With the kids resting... she could also rest. Oh praise the Moon!

Luna busied packing the kids things to take over to Cadence and Shining's house, fixing up their hair and setting Twinkletoes back on her feet instead of on her head. She picked up Wild Moon, balanced him on her hips and held teh girl's hands, one in each and led them out of their room into the larger 'living' room. "Stallion Justmo! The children are ready." she called, walking them into the room, still keeping a firm grip on them all, especially Moonlight. She peered around for her wild patterned Stallion, not able to hide a small smile.

Luna stopped just at the cliff side and peered over. She glanced back at Mo, her wings fluttering a bit as she watched him for a moment before glancing up towards the sky at the darkening orange colors. Soon the sky would be painted in beep purples and blue's and stars would twinkle as they rose from their beds. "It will be so beautiful... I can sense it." she said softly, shutting her eyes and taking in a deep breath of fresh air, the wind billowing her usual billowy space hair even more than usual.

Mo went straight towards the food stores, grabbing various fruits and vegetables, even snagging a couple of the Apple family's apples to add into the mix - a little something from home, he thought - and gathered the items in a basket with some beverages. Some cups, water, some "Hard apple cider" (the wine equivalent?) and a few sugary treats for dessert. Last, but not least, he picked up a blanket from his own room on the way back up the tree.

He wanted tonight to be perfect. Before heading back to pick up the family, he made a quick peek at the flower to be sure it was still in it's place and took a deep breath.

He had helped escort the children to Shining and Cadence's place in the tree. A part of him was sad to leave the children in another's hands, worried to do so, but also relieved. Time alone with Luna was just what he needed. And hopefully, there were going to be many future moments like this...

He smiled as he set down the basket and laid out the blanket for them to rest on, placed the basket on top of it so it wouldn't blow away, then stood. He looked her over, proud he could - in a sense - call her his. She was beautiful, and he rarely (especially nowadays) ever got any chances to marvel at her.

He trembled a bit as he approached, the two never really showed much to each other in the way of intimacy. Sure, they've kissed, hugged, and... well... that other stuff was a far different story ~cough~ but he couldn't remember much of a time they actually cuddled or just held each other... at least... not without a kid in the way.

His shaky hands slipped around her waist as she stood there, hugging her from behind as he rested his chin gently upon her shoulder. "I know it will." he agreed in a half whisper to her ear as the last tidbits of the sun's rays began slipping over the horizon.

She was not expecting hands around her waist and she blushed a bit, softly jumping at first but she quickly relaxed into the embrace and let herself lean against him. She then glanced over at the blanket he had set out and all the food he had brought with him and couldn't help but feel flustered... in the good way.

"Stallion Justmo!" she shouted in her normal Canterlot voice... to tease him. She then turned around to face him and softly placed her hands on his chest, taking a moment to gather the courage she normally had to look him in the eye and whispered softly to him. "You are most amazing on this night....I am thankful it was you who is the mother of my.... our children." she smiled cheekily and leaned up to give him a proper kiss. One that was probably long over due.

Mo jumped a bit himself when she bellowed out his name. What did he do now?! She then turned and settled his spirits. There was evidence of a smidge of a cringe at the comment of him being the mother to their children, but he let that slide for now.

Her lips met with his and he gladly returned. After a few moments of the long over due lip lock, he hesitated to part from her, but!! there was a reason he brought her up here tonight, right?!

"Are you hungry?" he started and parted from her completely to flip open the basket and pull out the cups to pour them both some of the cider-wine. He offered her one and then sat down, facing the cliff edge and the sunset/moon rise. He had yet to remove his armor - for good reason!! - but appeared as though he didn't seem to notice. "I got us plenty of stuff to choose from. What would you like?"

Luna laughed, she had just teased him, but the long kiss was quite overwhelming and not at all unpleasant. When he went to turn the basket over and offered her a cup, she gratefully took it and sat down beside him, daring to lean softly into him, resting her head on his shoulder and looked up at the slowly darkening sky. "How I long for a Daisy Sandwhich and hay frys!" she smiled and sipped at her cup gently before letting out a soft sigh. These faun didn't seem to know quite what those were. "An apple and some grapes would be nice however..."

Mo tilted his head. She never really talked much about the foods they ate where she came from. But now he was curious.

"Why would you eat sand?" he asked, grabbing an apple and some grapes and offering them to her. "And what is a fries?"

He grabbed some grapes for himself and nibbled on them as he listened.

She couldn't help but let out a louder laugh this time. She figured he'd ask something like that. "Not sand... sandwhich. Flowers between two pieces of bread. And hay fries are .. thick strands of hay." she paused and thought for a moment. What were fries was a good question indeed. It was harder to explain than she thought and so instead grapped some grapes as well and tossed them into her mouth.

Mo blinked. Strange... their foods were much the same, hers just seemed to have more complicated names and more diverse combinations than he was accustomed to. It wasn't unusual to eat flowers and bread, but he guessed none of the Faun thought of putting the flowers in between the bread. And 'hay fries' just seemed like a fancier term for ... well... hay...

He shrugged it off a bit and leaned back, looking up to see a few of the stars beginning to wake in the night. He smiled softly and relaxed a bit more. Looking to the horizon, he saw the faint sliver of the moon beginning to peek up into view.

"Look, my Moon..." he half whispered, pointing at the moon with one hand and wrapped the other around behind her.
