[PRP] Out of the Box [Twinkleshine x Vangelis]

Walking along the beach's edge, her hooves softly sinking into the sand with each step, Twinkleshine was left to her thoughts to try and make sense of what was happening recently. Her daughter was becoming quite a handful now that she had reached the age of angst and hormones, and even though she would still listen when asked directly, loopholes in her rules were becoming much more common. For example, if she said not to walk in the woods alone, Sparrow would simply fly; flying is not the same thing as walking, so it's allowed in this way even though the principle is the same. Clearly it's not, but that's what the growing teen told herself.

Another thing was that she was beginning to develop a crush on her hybrid friend, Ocie. She knew that this wasn't a good idea until her daughter had grown and left the house, but feelings will do as they wish. He probably lived in the water, with that constant fish tail he had, so how would she be able to be with him if they had to be physically separated? It made no sense.

How would she tell her roommate that she was dating someone else anyways? He had done so much for her and her child, and he clearly liked her, but she held no romantic feelings for him. Who knew if she ever would; she hadn't even thought it possible to fall for someone outside of the tree until Ocie came along. Perhaps she'd be better off with someone in the tree though... Probably... If she could get her feelings across to her friend, and if they didn't work out, she would return to the tree on Sparrow's adulthood and find someone there to love and start a family with.

Yes. It was decided.

But for now, she simply walked along the beach.

It wasn't uncommon to find Vangelis on the beach.

... That was because he lived there.

No, it was uncommon to find that Vangelis had actually ventured outside. Content with his music and those of his family, he had little reason to go outside of the house besides for when he absolutely had to. That did not come up terribly often. For him to consciously want to go outside for reasons other than to play his music in a different environment, or maybe even for simple payments or trades? That was rarer.

Today happened to be one of those very rare days.

Sometimes, Vangelis needed some fresh air, or a new source of inspiration, or ... well, maybe just some time away from his cousin and sibling. He honestly loved both Mikasi and Ignatius in the way he could have only loved his family, but sometimes they were both ... headache-inducing, in their own ways. He could appreciate the quiet that came with going outside and listening to the rhythmic sounds of the shore.

Unless noticed himself, Vangelis would have been hard to pick out. He was sitting at the edge of the water, letting his feet ever-so-slightly dip into the water. He was no good at swimming, but he still enjoyed the way the water felt against his hooves. He kept himself quiet, not even making much of a sound except for maybe a faint humming. Of course, his body was ... fairly obvious against the sand, considering his deep blue against the sand, but...

He wasn't making himself terribly obvious, anyway.

As Twinkleshine continued to walk, she couldn't help but notice something coming into her view. Something in the sand, still yet alive and deep blue in color. Was that... a faun? She hadn't seen one of them out here in so very long of a time, it had to be a special sort of coincidence! Or fate. Maybe both?! Smiling lightly, she approached the male and, at a slightly-too-close-to-be-reasonably-distanced distance, stopped to wave at him. Without waiting for him to return the motion, she spoke up. "Hello, I'm Twinkleshine! I live over there," she turned to point in the direction from where she'd come, only pausing a moment or two to do so. "What's your name?"
