 Yuan stretched luxuriously and looked around her. The stretch of land before her appeared to have been an orchard long ago. It had the ancient air of something that was once cultivated but had since been allowed to run wild. Most of the trees appeared to be apple, though here and there one could run into clumps of peach trees. The grass underneath was still relatively smooth and free of undergrowth, though Yuan was willing to bet that given enough time mother nature would do something about that.
But for the present it was a nice and comfortable place to walk through, though presently she was using the orchard as more than a setting for a pleasant walk. The place was just so peaceful and felt safe, so Yuan had been raising her little daughter, Juan-lanfen here. Juan was a very non-taxing child and easy to raise. Sometimes Yuan wished her daughter could have been a bit more childish and less independent, but whenever she was being honest with herself she had to admit this was probably for the best with it being her first child and all. She didn't exactly rate mother of the year!
Yuan sighed and began walking slowly through the orchard. She was bored! She hadn't been able to talk or flirt with anyone for the last couple weeks, and it was making her restless! She loved Juan with all her heart, she really did, but she was going to have to be a lot more careful about her flings from now on!
'Even a conversation would be nice right now, instead of all this boring silence,' she thought with a touch of ruefulness at having gotten herself into this situation. |

Yuan jumped a little at the sudden sound. Having traveled alone pretty much her entire life, her first instincts were to always treat surprises with suspicion and caution just in case something unpleasant was lurking close by. It seemed being a mother merely heightened that first impulse. Yuan quickly located the source of the sound and put all her senses on high alert.
It only took her a second to ascertain that Juan was not near the strange voice and was not making any sounds of distress, nor could Yuan smell her nearby, though she could barely scent the stranger. Another second and she mentally estimated her daughter was probably on nearly the opposite side of the orchard where the oldest of the trees grew, and thus was safe. That helped her to relax and examine the stranger rather than react to her.
Her. Now that was a huge one right there. Yuan felt herself relaxing a lot more upon discovering the unexpected visitor was a female. She couldn't abide males, it didn't seem to matter what their personality was like; it only seemed to affect how civilly she might treat them.
Hmmm, a very cute female too...
Despite her resolve just moments ago to watch herself with her love life, Yuan couldn't help the little stirrings of lust that ran through her blood. It wasn't just the physical attraction part; one of Yuan's favorite parts was the courting, the amazing challenge of winning a woman over to her and making them hers. Whether or not they thought they were making Yuan theirs was irrelevant, since Yuan was always in control of the game.
There was definitely some longing pulling at her, combining with the lust to make the female just irresistible. Here was someone beautiful, and also apparently friendly and probably on the perky side. It really had been a long time since she'd gotten to chat with anyone...
"Hello," Yuan called back, trying to keep the silky purr of seduction out of her voice but unable to help a slightly flirtatious side glance. Hey, she was still a hormone-driven woman, not a saint!

A friendly reply, that was a good sign. Emmi had to resist dashing up to the new vixen and pouncing her in joy. Instead, she calmly pranced up to the vixen to get a closer look and in hopes for a conversation.
As she pranced up to the vixen, she caught a better whiff of the fox scents that colored the area. Definietly two foxes. Usually two foxes meant family or mates. Emmi hopped that whichever it was, they wouldn't mind her intrusion.
Once she was close enough to speak to the vixen in her normal soft high voice, Emmi opened her mouth, and then shut it again. It had been so long since she had talked to anyone, she wasn't really sure where to start. She stood for a moment, just staring at the vixen. This close up, she had to admit the vixen was quite attractive. White body, orange tail, a reversed dotted pattern accented with the subtle light yellow licking her paws.
It wasn't at all like her flat green coat. Emmi had always though of herself and her twin as dencently attractive enough. But this new vixen....
Emmi realised a little too late how intensely she had been stareing.
"Uh....I'm Emmi." She said remembering that introductions were always a good place to start a conversation.

Oh, Yuan was definitely enjoying the visual attention she was getting! It wasn't a caress, so either this vixen was inexperienced, not the flirting type, or straight. Not that the last mattered to Yuan, she'd hit on females of all orientations. If she had to guess with the information she had right off the bat, she'd peg this female as a combination of inexperienced and non-flirty, perhaps with bisexual preferences given what so far appeared to be an openly friendly nature. But these were still guesses. What she needed was more information.
More by habit (and a naturally shameless nature) than on purpose, Yuan sidled up to the comfortable-conversation-distance line with a bit more sashaying than was strictly necessary. Hey, a girl had to show off all her assets, right? How else was this vixen going to know how graceful a neck Yuan had if she didn't arch it a little? How lean and lithe she was if she didn't hold herself properly?
How sultry and sensuous her chuckle could be if she didn't give a good example of one, which served the dual purpose of putting the vixen at ease?
Damn... This behaving and self-control thing was hard, especially with this lovely bit right in front of her!
"Pleased to meet you Emmi. My name is Yuan," she said, voice warm, amused, and low. For putting Emmi at ease, not because her low voice was her sexy voice! Nope, totally not!
...Okay, just a bit.
"What brings you here on such a fine day? A pleasure walk," she asked, hoping that if she just got a conversation going she'd fine it easier to ignore the internal battle her body was having with her conscience.
Natitsuri XD A calm prance? That was an amusing mental image. Also, can I just say these two already amuse me?
