Additionally, This is hoped to while being established by a group of players; we would like to open it up once the hunt is being planned or taking place to other players. If you'd like to have your canine or group of canines interfering with this mostly feline hunt; that's great! every good plot or event needs a point of antagonism. in fact, most movies or sitcoms while having the main thing going on often do have many smaller micro situations going on along side or that result during your main event. If you'd like to join, you will need to add quotes to everyone that your post will be effecting.

Also, as this rp goes on; posting orders may change depending on what's going on. If you take more than 24 hours to reply, the next person is allowed to go ahead and post to keep it moving. You may then post the next time you're on, and then the posting order will be augmented that way.

Thanks to everyone who participates, and let's all have fun!

Imbali and her black sengal friend had been traveling for a few days with the lioness seer they encountered. Imbali felt at least some obligation to befriend and look out for her as well as the lady's familiar. The blue leopardess wasn't thrilled with the idea of keeping a jackal around, but she grew to see he really wasn't much trouble. In fact, he made her laugh sometimes. The occassional friction between him and Almassi was also entertaining to her. She this midday led them to a cliff that wasn't too high over a valley ahead of them. Of course, if anyone were to fall over it, it were still high enough to catch a good fright if you fell over it or went sliding down face first unable to purchase anything to hold onto.

She smelled some leopards in the area, but she didn't see anyone exactly. She turned her head side to side to get a good look into the grass. She still didn't see them though she was certain they couldn't be far away. She then looked at her and of four. "Guys.. come here a minute."

She then looked down. Her eyes and senses quickly became completely absorbed in a group of elephants traveling through that valley. There were mostly single file with some extra guards flanking their march. Her eyes watched them feverishly. She recalled an encounter with a hybrid some weeks back who taunted her about roaming past a border because of elephants. At the time, she scoffed it off. Who out in the roguelands were dumb enough to attempt to take down a whole elephant? They were always in groups. She sat there at the edge of the cliff looking down at the behemoths. Was it possible though? To take one down? She knew if she were alone, it would be. However... what if.... she could find a handful to help? An elephant would be big enough that there'd be plenty of food to share with whoever put a hand in. She contemplated as she swished her tail from side to side. The longer she looked on silently studying their movements; she badly wished to be part of a group who would do just that.

As Ru'yah approached the edge of the cliff she couldn't help but look down. That would certainly be a horrible landing she thought as she observed. Her eyes did not stay settled on the sight of how far away the bottom was however. Instead her gaze lifted and watched as the life of the creatures of the valley proceeded. Elephants, giraffes, gazelle, all sorts of animals inhabited the area.

Ru'yah's gaze redirected to her companions, but particularly her familiar Haki. He looked troubled at something he saw, or maybe something he smelt. Either way, he was troubled and Ru'yah felt inclined to do something about it.
"Are you alright?" She asked him. He didn't respond right away, but when he did his face had relaxed and he was back to his normal expressions. "Elephant meat tastes good." He said, causing Ru'yah to almost laugh. Silly Haki, as if a small creature like him ever got the chance to eat elephant meat before.

Muzka had been travelling around for quite some time now. He had seen, hunted, or at least attempted to hunt, many things during that time too. Now it was becoming a game to him, whether or not he would manage to hunt the prey he sought after. He made it hard for himself too, always aiming for more difficult species to catch. Or if that wasn't satisfactory he would target a herd and see how many he could take down. Though for the latter he preferred to be in the company of another carnivorous individual so the food wouldn't go to waste.

He had a limit though. Certain species were much too difficult for a lone rogue to bring down without facing death. One of those things, being elephants.

From where he sat proudly in a tree, Mzuka had a clean view of the valley he was in. Behind him a cliff waited to see if he dare climb it, and in front of in the far distance a herd of those very beasts he did not possess the skill to hunt. He grunted, the idea of bringing one down was alluring to him, but it was only that. He needed to be in a healthy pride if he wanted any remote chance of success at killing one. That or, a group of crazy rogues...

A pair of bright blue eyes behind a bone mask was also watching the elephants. The spirits had led Skuld this way today, and while she didn't know why she was sure they had a good reason. It had been a long trek, and she was content to rest in a sheltered spot, watching the large beasts move past.

She had settled under a tree on a small hill, and she couldn't see any of the other felines in the ares. Later she'd ask the spirits if they wanted her to continue or if this was the place they had intended for her today. But for now she'd rest her paws and enjoy the shade.

((I was going to wait for a while and let more people trickle in, but I might as well get Skuld's first post in))
