Rain, Heiko decided, just wasn't a pleasure he enjoyed in life. In fact, most days he could do without it(though he did know, the land couldn't quite do the same) After a very unsuccessful hunt, Heiko was forced to take shelter under a cropping of rocks.

Shaking out his fur, he huddled down into a dry corner, attempting to keep warm. Why the weather had to switch to a rather angry pattering was beyond him. Sighing, he laid his head on the dirty stone beneath him, stomach grumbling, loneliness engulfing him. Swiping a paw against the dirty surface, he muttered under his breath.

Oh, he enjoyed company very much. In fact, the people he's met so far were nothing but kind(though, strange). The reclusive Raize and shy Shukura were both fun to talk to(Shukura more than Raize, due to his antisocial ways) but, at the end of the day, they parted ways and Heiko was once again forced to be alone. How he craved constant company.

His stomach growled. Someone who could hunt would be nice too.
