Well she found out she was with child, again. This time, it felt right to go find the father and see if he wanted to go with her to seek out a legendary for their children. She was not that surprised when he agreed to go. With giddiness of a happy doe, Above Heartache trotted through the swamp, her heart filled with longing to find one to bless the children she carried. "Come on, Light. We might find one over here." Her voice was raised in happiness more than anything else. Quick steps had her a bit ahead of the buck, as she plunged to figure out where they said a legendary or two lived.

"Oh I am coming dear! Right behind you!" said Light in the Ocean as his mind was still filled with happy thoughts. He couldn't believe that Above agreed to mate with him that easily. "I have never seen one before.. Will it be as happy as us?" he asked happily as he trailed after Above. He looked to the left and didn't see anything. And kept on prancing through as he hummed a happy tune. (( sorry man my internet connection keeps cutting out ))

A soft chuckle emerges from the greenery and is shortly followed by the shape of a mare, the strange fin atop her head flexing slowly. "I am not sure anyone could be quite as happy as you two appear to be," the mare interjects, her voice soft and kind. Her darkly glowing eyes turn from the buck to the female beside him and her swamp-given understanding fills her. "And I see why. Many congratulations," she smiles, bowing her head gently to the doe. ((No problem, Frosty, I'll be on and off all evening myself and can reply whenever! :3))

Above slowed a little for her mate to join her, but her hooves still moved her from side to side, waiting for him. His humming was catching and she was about to start herself when the mare emerged. She stopped in mid step and looked at the mare. Part of her was disappointed it wasn't one she knew, but that quickly changed as it was a new friend! "Thank you!!" She turned to Lights. "Look we found one." Thinking she was whispering, "Do you want to ask her?"

Light felt very content. Even while Above was pregnant she still moved around and waited for him up ahead. Before he could hum another tune, he heard a chuckle out of nowhere and his instinct made him look to his right. There, in the greens, stood a finned mare with glowing eyes, just meters away from him. “Thank you for the congratulations miss. She’s my very first.” He stepped closer to the expecting doe and nuzzled her mane. “Dear, you’re not whispering. She could hear you,” he said as he gave her a smile from pure love and bliss. “You stay here. I will go ask her.” He nuzzled her once more and started to head over to the magnificent mare. Time seemed to have stood still for Light as he pranced over to the legendary. He figured if he went over there at least Above and the children are safe if anything happened. “Hello again. I'm Light. It’s my first time meeting someone like you.” His eyes sparkled with joy. “I could talk all day but I wouldn’t want Above to wait for me when she needs all the rest she can. We came out here looking for someone… to bless our children. Would you be the one?” he asked and held his breath as he looked up at her. And stared into her glowing eyes. Light had no idea if the mare would agree to it or not. (( ahh sorryy - kicks the modem ))

The mare smiled down at the talkative little acha and stepped forward again, coming completely out of the underbrush. Her tail swayed softly behind her, the matching fin to the one on her head flexing as if in some unseen current. "I most definitely can serve as the one you seek," she replies, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "It is always a pleasure to help ensure there will be more happy families in the swamp. My name is Meets-the-Sea."

Above smiled as Light nuzzled her, then blushed as she was told she hadn't whispered. She turned her head to the side as the buck stood between her and the mare, Meets-the-Sea. She had no fear of the chosen one, but was happy to see he felt the need. "Hello Meets- the-Sea. I am Above Heartache." She stepped closer to the pair, wanting to be know how the fins worked, without being too over anxious. "We would be honored if you would bless our children." Her eyes didn't really leave the fins as they moved.

(( If the quoting gets annoying let me know. i can stop quoting you two. i just do it since net is stable for now. )) Light let out a sigh of relief as he saw the mare smiled down at him. He watched in amazement as she stepped out of the shadows and into the open. "You.. are like twice my height... Oh forget what I just said. I am talking too much for my own good," he chuckled as he circled around Meets to take a good look at her. "Meets-the-Sea. What a fitting name. I'd like you to meet my special lady." He didn't sense any danger from this legendary and decided that it's safe to let her approach Above. He bowed at the mare with two legs bent, and noticed that Above came over to them. He stood back up and watched the two.

((the quotes are fine with me! I like reading the posts! :3)) Meets laughed and nodded at the chipper little acha buck, bemused by his chattering. "No harm done, my friend, don't fret." As the doe approaches, she bends down to look at her, tilting her head in thought. "Above Heartache. What a lovely name. Yes, I think..." the sentence trails off as if the mare was speaking to herself, and when her voice comes again there is a slightly different tone to it, an echo of some deeper meaning that was not there before. "Your children will be happy and kind indeed, to have such good parents. May their lives be blessed, and their adventures always end without undue heartache." She smiles down at the pregnant doe and reaches the fan of her tail towards her, letting the tips of the fin brush against the doe's side gently.

It was good to hear the chatter of Light. He let his happiness out vocally, while hers was physical. She tilted her head up a bit more, keeping eye contact or well fin contact with the mare. The blessing filled her with a deep gratitude. She was sure her children went back to her place of birth, but none had yet to bring anything back to her. Maybe this group would be different. "Thank you." Her voice was a whisper this time, as she turned her head to watch the fin. Her heart was lighter as she went to stand beside Light.

(( This has been a fun blessing. my acha is very outgoing and smiley so he tends to talk a lot. )) Too soon. It all happened too soon. Light didn't want this meeting to end. He watched as the mare had finished touching the pregnant doe with her finlike tail and before he could do anything, Above was already standing beside him once again. "So it's over... Be right back Above. I need to do something real fast before I regret it." The optimistic buck dashed over to the kind mare and went right for her side nudging her with his nose, and gave her a quick nuzzle. Light beamed a bright smile at her as he stepped a few steps back and said "Thank you. This meeting has made me become an even happier daddy than ever."

((omg Frosty he's so cute I cant o3o)) Meets blinks in surprise as the buck appears at her side and nuzzles briefly against her, but in a moment the tension dissipates as her shock dissipates into a burst of tinkling laughter. "You are most welcome. I am sure you will both be fine parents. And don't worry," she smiles, taking a step back to look at the pair better. "Nothing is really ever over. Perhaps I will see you again someday." With a flick of her tailfin, the mare is gone again, disappearing back into the undergrowth.
