The day is calm and sunny as Sasha steers the ship towards Australia. Legends talk about an ancient and powerful treasure some where off the coast of Australia. It doesn't help she's starting to hunger. She doesn't just go around feeding from the crew. Well not usually. Looking around the ship, she watches the crew going about their duties. Her usual outfit is snug on her curvy body. Though with it being warm she's not wearing her blue jacket. Hearing the lunch bell, she nods at the crew letting them go eat for now. She remains at the open helm though. Glancing towards the direction of the Captain's Cabin, she wonders what her friend is up to.

The groaning of the ship woke the groggy James. Like a lazy child he rolled off his mat catching himself with his hands as he landed on the floor. How long had he been out? Keeping a hand over his face James wobbled to the deck. Walking up the stairs he stretched his body opening his mouth wide yawning. "Oh, right I'm on a ship." The dhampir scratched his chest looking at the vast ocean, he loved feeling the sun's warmth on his skin. He made his way to the edge of the boat grabbing a rope to gain better balance. This was as isolated as one could get, and it fit him just fine.

Thoughts: Where to next?

Sky was sitting up in the crows nest, looking out to the sea. Her ears twitched when she heard a few people down below only just getting up from sleeping all day long. Stretching out Sky's tiny wings on her back, she jumped down from the crows nest and landed lightly on top of James' head. She is very light so it wouldn't have hurt him at all. Just like a soft pillow hitting the top of the head. "You've been asleep all day!" Sky said with a grin, bending over so he could see her face.

James' eyes looked up slightly making eye contact with the graceful creature. Had he really been out that long? He smiled at her remark bringing his right index finger up to his lips tapping them gently. "Now now, love. You say that as if there was something I should have been doing! Besides, This 'sleep' is of grave importance." A grin crossed his face. James loved speaking to people, words were some of the most powerful things in existence and a mastery of them made even the most mundane of acts exhilarating. "Darling you are the third mate, a fine one at that." he said lightly tapping Sky's nose. "As you know our first mate over there is quite competent. Surely she could do both of our jobs without a problem. Now for me to be ready for that level of commitment, professionalism, and leadership I must rest and constantly have full energy! I'm not too sure the captain and the lovely Sasha would quite understand this so how about we keep this between us, eh?" There was some truth in his words. The ship had a great first and third mate and the Captain probably wouldn't understand his point. James crossed his arms across his chest and raised both his eyebrows hoping to sell his little tail and avoid any punishment from being away from post.

Mood: Bored and hungry
Thoughts: What's for dinner!

Sky blinked thinking about what he had said. "hm... Kay!" She hopped off James' head and landed on the deck, looking around. She was starting to get bored and wanted something fun to do. Her tail swayed behind as she sniffed around the deck like a dog (well, she is an animal) who had caught on a smell. "mmm I smell food" Sky said, licking her lips and running off towards the kitchen area. Sky was about the size of a cat and is very light on her feat so no one could hear her coming unless their eyes were very sharp.

James turned when Sky jumped off his head onto the deck, following her movement's with a enigmatic look on his face. It was neither displeasure nor amusement. It was akin to the stare of a lifeless zombie. After a second or two James snapped out of a the weird trance and began patting his chest. He looked left and right for to see if something needed to be done so he could quickly avoid the area. All the sleep had left a bad taste in his mouth, something that could easily be fixed with some food and drink. He headed towards the galley hoping to rid himself of the awkward taste. "Right then." He mumbled to himself walking casually to his destination.

Thoughts: Yummy

Sky was on the table in the galley, stretching herself out before chowing down on some chicken that was made for her. Her canines tore up the chicken from the bones and she swallowed it down with ease. Once she was down Sky hopped over to the counter and tried pushing a small barrel towards a bowl. "James~ Can you open the water for me?" Sky grinned, wagging her tail as she sat next to her bowl like a puppy waiting for him to fill it up.

James walked into the galley with his usual swagger. He watched Sky eat with a smile on his face as he leaned against the door way. Moving only after she requested his assistance. "Why of course my dear. We can't have our third mate thirsty! Besides everyone needs a good drink with their meal." James effortlessly popped the cork from the barrel and poured the water in the bowl. "Do you need anything else?" He asked as he put the barrel down, walking over to the pantry he grabbed an apple rubbed it against his sleeve then took a big juicy bite.

"Thank you~" Sky drank up the water from the bowl using her tongue until she was completely satisfied. Stretching out her body and picking up the bowl to put it away. After putting it away she ran back up the stairs and looked towards the Captain's quarters, "When is she coming out...?" frowning a little, she was kind of worried about the captain.

James smiled as the little creature ran off, this was truly an interesting ship. The young pirate leaned against the pantry eating his apple without a care in the world. His eyes scanned the room moving in unison with his jaw. James was wide awake now and full of energy; however, on a ship it was tough for him to use it. He couldn’t run for hours across the city jumping on top of buildings until his heart was content. Honestly he missed that most of all. Taking one last bite of the apple James tossed the core to the side surely someone would clean it up later. He scratched his head for a moment trying to figure out what to do next. “What does a second Mate do?” He said to himself stepping up the stairs to the deck. He figured he might as well AT LEAST make an effort to do his job, whatever it was.

As dawn breaks Sasha is still at the helm, her sites still set on Australia. Her pupils are ringed right now, giving away that she's starving. If they don't reach their port soon she may be finding some poor a** on the ship. It's not something she does unless necessary though. Or when they're dumb as bricks and try to grab her. Smirking now, she licks her lips.

The happy-go-lucky James froze when he reached the deck. He caught Sasha at the helm from the corner of his eye. He wasn't sure if she had spotted him yet but he didn't want to make any sudden moves and gain her attention. What had he done today? He cringed at the answer, not much of anything. Although, honestly he didn't plan on doing anything either. Looking through possible moves going back under the deck seemed like the best idea. He really didn't want to be yelled at for whatever he'd not done, what he'd done wrong, or what he'd yet to do. 'Well, she can't leave the helm.' He thought to himself. Putting both his hands up in front of him in a rather humorous position, James stepped back down slowly. However, on his way down the foolish pirate missed a step creating a rather loud commotion finished by a loud thunk when he landed. "No worries, I'm ok. It seems that my pride took most of the damage..." So much for avoiding attention.

Trained to observe everything going on, Sasha's aware of when James is on deck. Ignoring him for now, she watches the sea. when he backs away from her she assumes it's from what she is and the look in her eyes. And when he falls she smirks. "You should watch where you're going. Or better yet, get off that lazy a** and come do something useful. You have a job, I'm not the only one here to keep the crew in check."

"Lovely as ever." James whispered to himself when Sasha barked at him. Groaning as he raised himself from the floor, James sighed. "Right away, love. I was simply giving the floor a close inspection. This ship must be in tip-top shape!" he shouted smiling and brushing himself off. The man energetically made his way up the stairs to the top of the deck. Once on deck he made his way towards Sasha hoping to talk his way out of whatever 'job' he had to do.
