Even though she's a kid, Megan is a genetically modified kid: Eggman's only attempt after going through his grandfather's files. In fact, he gave her his own neural development sequences, meaning that she's naturally intelligent...

...intelligent enough to jerk her left arm back in an attempt to tear away the embedded katana, which would disarm Kiro, while swinging the a** end of the M60 around to rearrange his face.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

Once T.D. came at him, Kiro knew he had his duty to protect his master regardless if he did save the little robot's life. When he could have just easily kicked him away, the hooded hedgehog does something unspeakable. He throws out his arm into the metal hound's mouth and allowed his fangs to sink into his flesh. He grunts lightly, yet showed no sign of extreme pain from the bite. Hold the hound up in place, he violetly swings him off with his blood blood splattering on the wall. Why would he do that? And at the last second when his sword was yanked out of his hand, he puts his other hand in place of his head like a speedy reflex, catching the a** end of the gun like it was nothing. He then lifts up the broken weapon weapon regardless if Megan should hold on and draws the blade back out. For a moment, it looked like he was gonna cut her down like he did with those robots. But instead, he just easily squeezes the gun easily warping its shape and sheathes his blade back up. He then drops the scrap metal that once was a weapon and quickly leaps back at the last second. Even if something were to attack him that moment, all they'd be catching was wind. Skidding back across the dirt and then posed in place, the hooded hedgehog hedgehog stares back and smirks. "Did you drop something?", he asked her out of the blue. Was something of Megan's really missing?

Megan just watches Kiro, mentally calculating his reaction time and speed while taking out her melee weapon of choice: a four-foot long section of two-inch diameter iron pipe, and looks down to see if any of the limbs on the MR-01 units are intact. Each limb of an MR-01 unit has all the electronics capable of operating the whole robot, as well as a small reserve battery pack. It doesn't store much in this early version, but it's enough for an arm to maneuver its wrist and place a shot or two: Megan wants to keep the option open to enlist them in a distraction. For now though, any operational ones would lie on the ground just like any non-operational parts, with no indication that they're capable of at least some action.

Megan also calculates that it is physically impossible to swing the pipe she's holding faster than Kiro can move without her skeleton, tendons, ligaments, and muscles being made entirely from carbon nanotubes, so she waits for Kiro to move, and more importantly build momentum so inertia will make it harder for him to change course.

Iblis was surprised to wake up in D.L's arms. She noticed that D.L wasn't in pain anymore, but he did look really tired. Iblis wasn't sure if she had managed to fry the chip in D.L's brain though. Iblis stood and let D.L lean on her. "Thanks... You really need to rest though... You need to keep your strength up... I'll keep watch while you rest, don't worry..." Iblis said to D.L softly as she helped him sit down. She looked over at Nina and didn't mind if she wanted to rest too. Iblis would keep watch while people regained their strength.

D.L was to weak to protest when she set him down gently in a sitting position, he didn't trust Iblis enough to close his eyes at first but he knew that he would need his strength even if it was only a little nap. He could barely stay awake as it is but he felt less in pain, he was glad the headache was gone but wasn't sure if the chip got fried or stopped on purpose. D.L couldn't dwell on that thought though for long as he slowly closes his eyes, he felt too tired to even care anymore and just wanted to rest while he could. His breathing getting steady and slow as he fell asleep, his right ear twitching when ever a sound was heard.

Nina couldn't help but smile at the scene before her, it kinda seem weird that D.L would even rest within the group but she guessed he was too tired to even bother. "I'm going to stay up too, you might need help anyway." she said quietly as to not disturb D.L, she hoped he'd stay asleep for awhile.

TD didn't let go until Kiro kept moving his arm, he let go and almost hit a wall near Megan but made sure he didn't go too close to her. He didn't want to make Megan angry or to lose her in a dangerous fight, he knew who Kiro was though and whimpered silently but he couldn't back down when Megan was also in danger. TD wasn't sure what to do but to protect Megan at all costs even if he also got him damaged badly, he would rather risk his own life then let Kiro hurt Megan and she was pretty much his true master.

TD stand his ground but stood by Megan, making sure that if she wanted him to do something he would do it in a flash. He would obey any order even if it meant losing a friend like Kiro, he was prepared to latch at Kiro again if he got too close.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

"A pipe.....Really? -.-'", the hooded hedgehog thought as he reaches into his back pocket. Right now, his main concern is to somehow avert Megan's attention away from the factory. He slowly pulls out the transceiver radio and calls in, but nobody would hear from the other side for some strange reason. "Ok guys, I got her distracted long enough. Do it!!!", Kiro was somehow expecting something to happen as he looks toward a clock tower near by. "3....2.....1", he thought as an explosion could be seen from across the city. "Looks like you got the wrong factory", he smirked. It looked as though everything was a distraction all along that the control over the factory was just a mere decoy to destroy the other factory on the other side of the city. But actually Kiro timed the self destruction timer just right when the tech hacked into the other factory's main frame. The set up made it look like everyone was at the other factory instead of the current one Megan was standing in. And the hooded hedgehog was the actual hacker that blew up the main frame and took control of the system. He hated taking D.L.'s credit, but such a white lie maybe the only thing that could save him. Hopfully Megan would take the bait and leave. And if that didnt work, there's one more thing that should convince her. He crushed the radio transceiver and pulls out some sort of objects that appeared like a console cartridge and a special looking USB cable along with any other spares if Megan had any. "Do these belong to you by any chance?", he juggled them up and down on his hand. it appears, the hooded hedgehog must have pick pocketed her while he was up close to her. Right as he caught her attention the moment T.D. attacked and Megan tried to whack his face with the butt end of the gun. Right when he caught it after swiping T.D. off, he must have slipped his injured hand through while he jerked the gun back to get his sword. What ever the hooded hedgehog might have just taken, it looks important. His eyes and ears were all open for any sudden movement or attacks that would render him off guard for that moment. "You want them back? You gotta catch me first. ", he said leap back high in the air and onto a street light.

All Kiro really takes are cables and the damaged radio transmitter/receiver, and Megan knows enough about electrical engineering to build a new one; that is to say nothing that Kiro took is really that important or valuable. What Kiro really did is mark himself for execution, and as soon as Megan can find a unit with working radio communications, the whole Eggman Empire will have his image straight from her hippocampus, and every unit will note his location.

More importantly, one of the two is going to die, and Megan isn't making any funeral arrangements.

As for the pursuit, Megan knows she can never catch Kiro on her skateboard, so she waits for the scrap transporters to scoop up the inoperable units for recycling to radio in for an areal transport, preferably one with weapons.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

'Well this is awkward -.-'", he sighed crushing the thing he pick pocketed in his hand an drops them into the street. From the looks of it, she always a step ahead. No doubt that could mean only one thing. "I was right...this is no oridinary child. She's studying me and my capabilities.", his gaze narrowed at her as he leap back down from the street light and slowly starts to walk toward her. If he could, the hooded hedgehog could just easily take her down right now, even if it means plowing straight through T.D. "So thats how its going to be.....well your no fun", he said in a disappointed tone as he pulls out a small 9mm caliber. He doesn't normally act this way, but he'll do anything at this point just to make the girl budge. Or at least somehow provoke her. Even if it means putting on an act. He stops and points the gun at her aiming straight at her head, even at this distance. And with T.D. in his sights, he'll just detect his movements. "Let me ask you something? You know I got you pinned down. So why the lack of security? In fact what do you want to gain from all this?", he asked her. Kiro could just pull the trigger any moment or could he just be bluffing. Could this mysterious hedgehog truly be capable of harming a little girl? And even if they could imprint his image and set him as a target, theres no way theyll be able to have an accurate reading without looking under his hood.

Of course, with no USB cables to connect her neural interface with the LCD screen she always carries, and no neural connection to her larynx, Megan has no real effective way of answering Kiro's questions. What she does though is walk towards Kiro, still holding her pipe, and at some point, gives two quick whistles, through a gap in her teeth she carefully made for that purpose, that start high and drop off: a signal for TD to attack.

TD wasn't sure what to do since Kiro was close to Megan and had a gun at her head, he growled lowly but it was noticeable and he was swinging his tail behind him in frustration as he hesitated. TD knew if he attacked Kiro now then he might shoot Megan by accident or not, he didn't want to risk it and lose Megan.

TD heard the whistle though and quickly responded by latching in the way of Kiro, making sure he used enough speed to grip his fangs onto his arm then twisted it upward so he wouldn't shoot Megan in time. His speed was better then any of the other hounds mostly because TD was upgraded more then the others, he was more flexible and had the strength to bring down a guy if he used it wisely but TD was just trying to protect Megan. He was trained to respond to whistle sounds as orders, just in case something had happened to Megan's normal communications there was always away.

Megan just ordered TD to attack Kiro so she could c**k back her pipe then swing it as hard as she could at Kiro's skull, aiming at his temple, while he's distracted by TD, and it would be hard; probably lethal. Even if Kiro blocks it with his free arm and/or hand, the impact will likely break some bone.

But why use a pipe instead of a sword, or an axe, or a knife, which would actually cut? Megan has a deep-seated psychological need to bludgeon her foes; to bring all of her strength to bear against a solid target, and make that kinetic energy transfer. Sometimes it's less practical than slicing or stabbing, but Megan loves to beat people with a blunt object, preferably balanced.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

Kiro stood there as Megan progressed closer and closer to him without any fear. Most likely, she was probably testing him. Which was exactly what he wanted. He both her movements and T.D.'s in his sight and hearing as he remained silent as a statue. The moment she whistled, Kiro knew exactly what she planned. He was no fool when it comes to the old distraction plan. He couldnt tell whether Megan was an amateur at fighting, a bad strategist or she could be just trying to fool him around.

No matter the situation, he finally caught her attention. He alreadly let T.D. have a free bite and thats all he'll get. Still, why would the hooded hedgehog do that? Was it some sort of message to him? Reguardless, Kiro quickly knocks the side of T.D.'s head with the right timing hard and fast with his elbow to aim his jaws at the metal pipe instead of his arm for a second time. He expected his teeth to be fine from biting down on it since he could tell the pipe was mostly iron and its not the first time his flesh was penetrated from hard steel alloy. In that moment, the hooded hedgehog lowers his weapon and presses something in his ear. "Now!", he says as a sudden huge thick barrier dome appeared in front of them surrounding the factory over and under, lock out Megan and T.D. along with the mysterious hooded hedgehog. A high class barrier used for the empire was somehow downloaded into the system mainframe of the factory. "Well, looks like you lost this fight little one. Theres no way your gonna get past there unless you shut power the main power route to the entire empire. Or without the new password I installed.", he stated looking down at her and unclips his gun to reveal there was no ammunition from the start. The power was rerouted to the empire's main power thanks to D.L.'s hacking and Kiro's quick thinking. Without that, Eggman would leave himself wide open for an attack if he were to shut everything down. And even if he could try to hack through with a virus, there will be techs around the clock to block it out and isolate it. As powerful as the defense is, there can possible be some weak points for something small to penetrate through. But thats the only advantage he'll have for the time being. "And if i really wanted to kill you, I would have used a bigger gun.", he said in a cold tone. The entire time, he had no intention of harming Megan. But at the same time, he left himself wide open for danger. Looks like he could care less about what shell do.

As far as Megan's concerned, all that idiot did is trap himself inside a barrier that may or may not be gas-permeable. Either way, Megan will just install a blockade, then physically cut all data lines and utilities.

Fortunately, the scrap transports are arriving along with reinforcements. Megan takes TD-51 under her left arm so he can let go of the pipe, then heads towards one of the transports to start broadcasting orders.

Kiro may have won that fight by underhanded, dirty tactics, but Megan's tactics will get far dirtier and more brutal.

Once aboard, Megan takes a spare USB cord and connects into the communication system, immediately ordering the reinforcements to form a defensive perimeter around the force field, and then calls for portable fortifications to the position, as well as construction units, slaves, 50,000 cubic yards of fortification-grade concrete, and enough rebar and security mesh to over-reinforce it. As long as the force field is up, nobody inside can do anything to break the containment that Megan will put the factory inside, and if the force field ever goes down, there will be plenty of heavy weapons to breach the walls and begin an assault: a very sadistic choice, which will soon become a true Morton's Fork.

TD noticed as he bit down on something, it wasn't Kiro's arm but the pipe but Megan got him to let go. He whimpered realizing that he failed to attack Kiro but deep down he was grateful that he didn't harm him, he noticed the force field but Kiro seemed to have trapped himself outside with him and Megan.

TD knew that Kiro was just trying to protect the others but this was risky, he didn't understand why Kiro was risking his own life and why he didn't just stay inside. All this was confusing to TD but he quickly pushed the thought away, he would never understand Kiro and why he did all this.

Eggman managed to hack into some of the cameras inside the factory, seeing the three mobians inside and one of them he was familiar with that was a black hedgehog. After what happened with the chip, he had noticed that it was trying to endear extreme heat and quickly turned it off as soon as D.L got Iblis away from his head. Eggman hoped she didn't damage the chip since that was the only thing keeping him under control, if D.L was free from that he was sure the hedgehog would do more damage. He watched though as D.L helped the she-wolf and healed her wounds, this caused Eggman to wonder if Light still had slight control but he decided to worry about that later.

Eggman started looking up about the chip's system, it seemed to be alright but there were a few damages just nothing serious though. he typed on his keyboard to have it cool down for a few minutes or so but made sure that it wouldn't harm D.L, not yet anyway unless he would need to use it again. As soon as he was done with that Eggman quickly tried to hack into the factory's security system but once the password thing popped up, he couldn't even get through and it seemed his password was changed but he wasn't sure what it was. "Blast it!... they must of hacked into the system but how?! ...there's only one person who knows how to do that without any problems, that blasted hedgehog D.L! Argh!" he ranted as he tried to hack in the password but each seemed to fail, he wasn't going to give up though but no matter what he did it just wasn't working. Eggman guessed that D.L must of used his abilities to hack into the computers, there was no other way this could of happened unless there was Tails involved but he hasn't seen that fox in along time. Ever since he defeated that pesky blue blur or that's what he made them to believe, shaking the thought away and focusing back on his computer. He gets back to hacking back into the systems.
