sea elephants█░ ☠ No one really knows how it all started. Nonetheless it all spread like wildfire. Not only did the virus spread, so was panic,
sea elephants█░ ☠ the need to survive and great deception. Wrecked cars lined the streets, and what roamed them were ... the dead ?! They
sea elephants█░ ☠ slowly shuffle through the streets, wondering when their next meal would be, how much longer until another living being
sea elephants█░ ☠ would arrive to keep them company.
sea elephants█░ ☠ Tokyo was one of the cities to have encountered a virus known as 501-A3. Underground scientists were testing the possibilities
sea elephants█░ ☠ of immortality. One day, though, a certain vile was dropped, escaping into the air. Who knew that a mere bite would pass on the
sea elephants█░ ☠ virus. They did succeed in a sense, since it was almost impossible to kill the zombies.
sea elephants█░ ☠ This is the story of a group of survivors. Some knew each other, while others prevailed as doubtful strangers. Messages were being
sea elephants█░ ☠ processed, upon finding the small device. There was word that a sanctuary was located north of the city. It was called A Land of
sea elephants█░ ☠ Promise.You can either travel there by venturing through the subway stations or going simply on foot. The subways have been
sea elephants█░ ☠ activated, however. A source from this "Land of Promise" had access to the electricity grid of the city, and powered in case of
sea elephants█░ ☠ any survivors. In addition to this, a team had been dispatched into the city, to both collect supplies and as well as survivors. They
sea elephants█░ ☠ were known as Team Shinda. If there are no survivors found, then their next objective is to clear Tokyo of its infection. Chances
sea elephants█░ ☠ of this actually existing depending on the group, but have ultimately decided to go there. Either way, they'll be out of the city and
sea elephants█░ ☠ in hopes that the rest of the world was free of infection.

These are very simply rules, in paragraph form, so please read along. c: First of all, we all know to obey the Gaia ToS.
No cybering, god-modding - the basic stuff. We should already be used to this, but it's good to have a reminder every once
in awhile. As for literacy, I am only expecting two paragraphs min. Anything more than that is very appreciated. Also, quality
over quantity. And obviously, no text talk "lyke d!s." I think we could do a lot better than that. I'm not a grammar/spelling nazi,
but I don't want to see a mistake every other word. Posting isn't that hard, seeing I'll want a post once week. If you can't keep
up with that, I'll kick you out, unless you have a good excuse. Once or twice is sometimes understandable. We all have lives
outside of Gaia. I get that, but this doesn't mean that you join and never post. That makes me really unhappy. :c And when you do
post, please post with readable colors. Yellow and cyan are very hard to read, but as for layouts it's fine. Also post in either
font size 11 or 10. With that in mind, all I ask is for a post with a picture of your character, name, and role. You may add more,
but let's not go overboard, alright? A big thing for me is characters, along with the balance of genders. Each of the roles don't
have specific gender; in a lot of roleplays i've been in, all of the female spots are taken. I ask that you try to even them out is all.
When this becomes a problem, I'll only open the roleplay for male roles. Now, for characters, I don't want any maru-sues or
gary-stus. I want characters with flaws. Really think about how they would act. On a second note, not everyone's life is depressing
or has to be really depressing. How about we have a change of pace for once, yes? This doesn't mean that I'm looking for
insane people, but rather interesting muses to play along with. For this particular roleplay, not everyone will have a gun, nor
will everyone have experience of being able to use one. That's really drab and boring. You're not invincible obviously. People
will get hurt, and if you ever get into a fight with another character, it wouldn't make sense if you dodged or landed every hit.
Come on, guys. Real life isn't like that. o no)b And as a roleplay group, I expect everyone to be happy with each other.
I don't know why everyone will be fighting in the first place, but let's be a little more sophisticated than that. Finally, onto the
applications. (You probably skipped all the way down to this part.) Reserving a spot means you aren't filling out the application
that I've made. Title the message for the role you want. I'll give you a couple days to fill out the profiles. Title these as the name
of your character. In addition, if you have trouble cropping pictures, I don't mind helping out. If not, feel free to ask someone
else. c: And remember guys, photobucket isn't your only outlet for pictures. My suggested sites as zerochan.net or even
deviantart.com. If I do ask to change your picture (this rarely happens), then please find another. Character limit will be 2. There
is a small group roleplay, so I would like to give people a chance to join~. The original plot I had in mind had few characters,
but if you have a really good idea for a character, I may be willing to open up a spot for you. I'll eventually post an ooc thread, once
I have everything else in the thread set.
I hate hearing about stealing and stuff like that, so if I hear about anything like that here, then you're automatically out.
That's not tolerated and very unfair. It just shows how lazy you are and the fact you actually did that is not cool. :c I will
be accepting any questions about the roleplay; I have no problems answering them, even if you have a lot. c: and
finally, have fun ~! New rules will be posted in grey.

seasea⋆↑* its legs are arranged like a frog, and they hop to and fro passed the buildings of the city.

seasea⋆↑* their evolution is definitely from a frog, however they do not have the tongues of one.

seasea⋆↑* if they aren't eaten right away, they carry their prey to their nests.
seasea⋆↑* here, they'll store you away in slimy sacs.
seasea⋆↑* they occupy the sewers and portions of the subways of the city.
seasea⋆↑* its tongue is it's most useful weapon. it's advised to remove that factor first.
seasea⋆↑* as big as rana bes, they are the most clever of the creatures.
seasea⋆↑* because of this, they are believed to have some sort of conscience.
seasea⋆↑* they're still a growing species, like the volatus, so their population is also low.
NOTES ON THE SETTING
technology is a big joke. cable towers have turned into volatus territory, and all of the city's power was turned off long ago. an evacuation had taken
place when the virus was first discovered, however the efforts were futile. instead a high wall was built surrounding the tokyo. not even the volatus
could survive the air pressure, so it's guaranteed safe. armies from the surrounding countries had contributed every man into creating that wall,
but that doesn't mean that virus may have escaped into the cracks. there is ultimately no way of getting out, but a way in. to get out, you would have
to go on water. none of the species have developed to where they can withstand breathing underwater. team shinda is a specialized them that
have been put through special training (or the best they could get) provided by the ad morsum community. north of the city is the ideal path, and
there's a pathway through the ocean to arrive at the isolated island (ad morsum). team shinda has knowledge of every route possible of the city.
they are currently looking for supplies, as well as picking up any survivors they may encounter. the survivors are heading north, when team shinda
will be arriving. this entrance was discovered a few years ago, which led the ad morsum inhabitants to believe that the infection is worldwide.
