 Everything Grows was apparently having children. The doe he'd knocked up wasn't, she had told him rather succinctly, he was. He got to make sure they survived; and if her spawn didn't survive she was going to take it out of his hide. The end. So he'd gone where he was told a legendary would be. For a blessing. For his kids. If he was going to raise foals all of a sudden the least he could do was make sure they were given all of the best chances at a good life and healthy growth. At least.

With all the traveling he did, it was remarkable that he could be reliably said to be in any one place at all, but the stag was there when he was sought. Or perhaps it wasn't all that remarkable - he was something of a public figure, after all. It might have been more surprising that he wasn't constantly followed by the curious or admirers.
So there came this bright teal fellow, and he could tell by the look in his eyes he'd been the object of a search yet again. He'd done this long enough to know what the buck wanted, but it was polite to ask anyways; "How can I help you, son?"

This had to be him. Right? Yeah. It was best to just barge in and assume then to ask, because really- What was the point in being cautious? If you made a mistake then you made that mistake and moved on. All was good and super-flowy. No need to worry.
"So I'm about to be a father," he started in on the explanation, "and I was hoping you could bless my little children-to-be 'cause I want them to have good lives." Not that he wasn't going to be around to help them too, but it couldn't hurt to have a little extra help. "My, ah, partner in crime would skin me alive if I didn't ask."
Yeah. That would do it.
"Would it be too much trouble to ask for some awesome and mighty well wishes?"

The buck's explanation earned a slow blink, a quiet sigh and the barest roll of eyes, but he didn't have a good reason to decline. Strange or mildly rude behavior were not good reasons. He had to do it - for the children.
Breeze squinted silently at the buck for a while, then sighed and stepped forward. The pale shadow of his songbird self lighted from his back and landed on the buck's head, placing a sprig of mint there. "Have her eat that. Tell her your children will be strong, and healthy, and... they will come to do great things," he finished a little lamely. He wasn't really feeling that last part, but they'd have the first two for sure, at least.

Eyes rolled up to the mint now sitting on top of his noggin and nodded. Enough to be obvious but keep the plant where it was. Barely.
"Right on."
He ... Didn't know what else to do from there. Did he leave an offering? Nod lamely and say thanks before shuffling off into the sunset? His mouth twitched in thought.
"So, uh. I grow things ... If you ever need more mint or something? Just come find me. I'll give you all I've got. As compensation? Thanks? Both, yeah."

Breeze closed his eyes and sighed patiently. "That won't be necessary - this ability was a gift from the Motherfather, so it is only right to pass it on as a gift. But thank you for the offer," he said.
"I hope you have a safe trip to wherever it is your doe is waiting, son," he added as a hint. A bit of a strong one, maybe. Oh well.

"Oh, yeah. That's super nice." He shuffled around to face in the direction of where he needed to head, then looked back once at Breeze. "Thanks again. This was super nice of you."
With that he turned and made his way back to where Mischief was waiting. Expecting nothing more than the inharmonious screeching of her voice.
Now to figure out how to get her to eat this mint.
