you said maybe you were interested?

and you too?

User ImageShe slowly nosed around the entrance of the cave the others had been so keen about. She'd only heard of the large even of the new kin showing themselves, but she hadn't attended, usually getting lost or hurt in large crowds. The earth was still fairly freshly turned up from the amount of hooves that had traversed the area, and she stepped carefully as to not turn a leg.

She gingerly sniffed the air, her head raised high as well as her curiousity. What did these kin look like? Were they gentle, or harsh, or flashy? She waited patiently, though her excitement showed through the twitching of muscle, to see if any would show themselves to her.

He had returned to the cave after an exploration, his hooves were caked in fresh mud from the soft dirt that had turned into soft sinkholes, mind set on taking a nap. The doe's scent had been blown in by a breeze and curiosity caught, he had turned right around.

He pranced forward, not at all shy, and a smile pulled at his lips. "You have a nice scent," he added, as he continued toward her. If she had any sort of boundaries, he would have trampled right past but he did not want to startle her and he stopped a kin length away.

So many that had been there to greet them. Shuffling over, Soundless bumped into Thief. "Sorry. Who are you talking to?" Without a glow, she couldn't see much of anything. Even less than the buck she bumped into. Ears swiveling to catch a noise of which direction to face and greet the visitor.

The jolt of being bumped into took his attention. He turned his head, twisting his neck, "There is a doe here; to see me -- us -- surely." He let his tail curl around the zikwa doe's foreleg; he never was one to let a chance to flirt pass. She was one of the sightless and he fell back, pressed his side into hers -- "Stay close," -- to guide her forward.

The first one slightly startled her with his...her....its greeting. What gender was it anyway? She couldn't really tell. And was it deformed, with the black, furry lump on its back? She couldn't tell and she shook her head in an attempt to rid herself of such judgmental thoughts. She blinked as yet another emerged, this one much more pale, though no less intriguing than the first.

She looked more closely, and found their eyes. The one...she could barely see its eyes~! They were being covered by a layer of skin. Did they lack sight as much as she lacked sound? She stomped the ground in front of her with one hoof, hopefully making enough noise for them to hear her.

Nosing at Thief's tail, she nodded. "A doe you say?" She leaned into him, knowing that he would probably guide her safely. At times she wished she had never left their dwelling, but the excitement to find the others. It was too much for her, so Soundless was now on her way to meet some more.

Her ears swiveled as the other stomped the ground. Twitching her tail around Thief, "Is she trying to get our attention?" The pale doe had her nose pointed at the other doe, waiting to hear something again, to know she was looking towards her.

"Yes, a doe," he replied with a smile and shuffled a mere few steps forward, slow and steady so as not to jostle or lose Soundless. "Stamping her hoof," he explained, his eyes squinting a touch in order to suss the blurs out. Not that it did any good but it sounded like a hoof.

The like touching? She noted how close the were to each other, and their interaction. Is that how they got around if they couldn't see? Well, if they couldn't see, then she'd just have to help them in the only way they could.

She moved forward, slowly, trying not to startle them. She nosed at the lighter one's shoulder, flicking her tail against the others legs. She leaned against them, rubbing, first down the light one, and then up the other side of the dark one, draping the hair of her tail across their backs, hoping she wasn't hurting the deformed one.

The touch startled Beacon and the bat snuggled closer -- if that was possible -- into his pet's skin. It was actually quite nice and warm, Thief thought, as he turned to nose at the silly creature. "Don't be so shy," he cooed to it, then turned his bright eyes to the two does.

"It seems to be my lucky day to be accompanied by two such lovely does," he grinned and nuzzled his nose against Speak Not.

Soundless stepped along side the male, her hooves getting close to tripping her. Something touched her, it most of been the other as Thief was against her side. Her skin quivered as the tail touched her. Since they were closer, she could notice very pale spots, it was the only way the doe knew which side the other was on.

Following the males lead, she went and nuzzled Speak Not. She prayed that she didn't get tangled up in the does hair, as that was what she had put her nose into.
