Time for the young lioness was crawling by. It had been nearly a week since she'd left the family she'd known to travel by herself. She was finding her path incredibly lonely after doing without the love and affection shared amonst her family. This had become a test of will for her. Could she find her own path out in the world, or would she run home tail between her legs? Pallas could only hope she had the strength for the former. But laying alone under a cold rock outcropping made it very difficult.

Nights were always worst. Laying there alone, without the warm, comforting bodies of her family around. Her thoughts straying right before sleep. During the day it wasn't so bad. She was out and moving. Exploring or going wherever her fancy took her. That was always exciting, or meeting new faces. Pallas lay in the early morning light. Now that she was on her own it was up to her to decide what she'd do for the day. Travel and hunt? Or hunt then travel?
