Gil looked over at Mikey then smiled he walked over him but he took whiff of the cigarette smell he waved to him before he went up to his bedroom trying not to bump into the smell again.He came back down with his shoes on he looked at the kids,"Go put on your shoes we are going for a little walk before we go."He said with a smile.The little ones went upstairs putting on their shoes he grabbed Mikey's hand dragging him to the living room."Go put on some thing because you smell bad and also my bedroom."He said.He kissed his lips softly,"Now go"He said.

Mikey ran his hand through his hair again and smiled innocently at Gil. "Well, thanks for boosting my self-esteem, but I forgot my cologne at home..." He shrugged his shoulders and shoved his hands into his pockets. "The smell will wear off eventually." He made sure Gil's mom or siblings weren't around before quickly giving the boy a kiss. "C'mon. Let's just go." He kissed the boy again and went back to the kitchen, grabbed an apple, and headed toward the front door.

Gil covered his nose then giggled."I dislike the smell with a passion."He said then kissed him back.He watched him leave to the kitchen as he turned to see the kids he smiled.As they all were ready he opened the door allowing the kids to go first then Mikey he locked the door then began to walk with the kids infront.He looked over at Mikey,"How do you think school will be tomorrow?"He asked him.

Mikey looked over at Gil when he asked about school the next day, then down at his shoes as he walked. "Um... I-I don't know. Just like any other day, I guess." He bit his lip as the guilt of what he had done started eating him alive again. He shoved his hands into his pockets and sighed. Why did he do that? He was never going to let himself forget that. And how badly would it effect Gil?

Gil watched him react the way as he felt guilty but he brushed it off he knew he was going to get picked on like every day.He looped his arm around Mikey's then giggled softly,"No worries about tomorrow it will be a normal day of everyday of my high school life."He said.Gil kissed his cheek softly then unwrapped his arm.

Mikey furthered the distance between he and Gil when he kissed him on the cheek. They were in public, now, and he couldn't risk being seen letting another boy kiss him. He did say a word. He only shook his head at Gil and kept walking. After a few minutes he looked to Gil and said, "Where are we going, anyway?" The whole time they had been walking, he didn't even think about where they were going. He was only thinking about what tomorrow would be like. That's all that filled his thoughts. There wasn't room for anything else.

Gil looked at him as he distanced himself he looked away in disappointment."We are going home."He said then he told the kids to held back home in the direction.hey turned around then held hands while talking as they walked.He glanced over at Mikey,"If you didn't want to be seen with me why didn't you stay home?"He asked then rolled his eyes.He jogged up to the kids then walked in between them they spoke about their day yesterday he laughed and smiled."It was a ton of fun right?"He said he let go of his brother's hand then placed his hand to his head as it began to hurt.He sighed softly trying to play it off then grabbed his brother hand again.

Mikey sighed. Great. Gil was already mad at him. That just made him all the more stressed for tomorrow. He ran his hand through his hair and thought for a second. Now he remembered one of the reasons he preferred to be alone. It was so stressful. He pulled out a cigarette and began to smoke it. Before he knew it, they were back at Gil's house. He dropped the cigarette on the ground and stepped on it to put it out. He looked over at Gil, waiting for him to unlock the door.

Gil unlocked the door then let everyone inside first he went upstairs then grabbed the board games then brought them down stairs for the kids.He skipped going to the Dance Studio he allowed them to choose what ever he sat near them watching them play UNO.He heard his mom call his name over to the phone he got up and jogged over to it then the person number was blocked and they began to call him terrible names like at school.He hung up the phone then went back to the little ones he sat down sighing he bit his lips was he watched them.His face didn't show much emotion but in the inside he was upset it was their 3rd time calling this month and it annoyed him.

Mikey looked at himself in the mirror and sighed. Even his favorite outfit couldn't put him in a good mood. He was so nervous for school. He had already smoked four cigarettes since he woke up an hour ago. What was it going to be like? How badly was Gil going to pay for what Mikey had done? He adjusted his beanie and grabbed his bag and headed to school. The whole way there, he was just lost in thought. He walked into the school and was greeted by his friends.
"Dude!" one of them said, "When I got your text, I was all, 'What the hell?'. I couldn't help but laugh my a** off. That f** is such a ******** loser!"
"A desperate loser," another added, "The fact he would be willing to flash anybody... He's such a slut."
"And there wasn't much of anything to flash!" his other friend laughed, "I mean, c'mon, man!"
His friends continued to mock Gil, but all Mikey could do was look around for the boy. He just wanted to see him and how he was doing.

Gil was walking to his bus stop as he was dressed in a plain t-shirt,skinnys and converse.His hair was a bit puffy but he didnt care he saw everyone giving him hate stares he looked over at them then looked down at his shoes as he clutched onto the strap of his bag.He got onto the bus and sat were he normally sat once the bus stopped at school he got out and walked inside.He was looking for his best friend he was scared to be by himself.He saw the group of Mikey's friend and Mikey he was scared he rushed to his locker getting his books.His eyes glanced over at Mikey the person he liked he looked back at his locker.

Mikey finally spotted Gil. He seemed okay. He sighed with relief and quickly looked away. But he didn't look away in time. His friends also noticed Gil and they walked over to him. Mikey couldn't bear to watch what his friends were about to do to him, so he headed straight to his first class. Sadly, he would have to see the aftermath when Gil came to class since they had first hour together. He laid his head down on the desk and tried to think of something other than Gil, but he couldn't.

Gil locker got slammed shut as Mikey's friends called him many names and physically bullied him.He saw as everyone eyes were glanced on the group after the bell rang everyone left as Gil was there.He got up clenching his stomach his stomached was punched over time,punched in the face and kicked around for nothing.He walked to class perfectly fine but his stomach was in pain he looked at Mikey giving him an upset look.He walked over to his seat then just sat there with his head down.Gil didnt know why they did that even though they said for him not to touch or be near Mikey again or they will hurt him even more.

For the rest of the school day, Mikey really didn't get a good look at Gil. He went home and went straight to his room. He pulled his homework out and stared at it as he lit his cigarette. He never understood Geometry. Or history. Or any other subject for that matter. He exhaled a cloud of smoke and pushed his homework aside. He stood up and looked out his window. He could see the top of Gil's house from where he was standing. He wondered to himself what Gil was doing. He finished his cigarette and put it out in his ash tray and then laid down on his bed. He wasn't tired, but he didn't feel like doing anything else.

Gil walked home but he walked home the longer way to skip being seen.He arrived home he walked up the stairs and he turned on the light he fell on his bed as he clenched tightly onto his stomach.He winced softly he lifted his body up then he looked into the mirror his face on top of his eyebrow was a bruise he placed a bandage on it before he went downstairs.He left out the house after asking his mom were Mrs.Larson lived at he walked over to Mikey's house and knocked on the door.He stood there trying to play off his brutal headache and his stomach pain.
