Tamu is a sweet, loving guy that seems able to brighten even the most sour creatures. He's always happy and bubbly, and very adorable, if more than a little silly. Evolution has bred a caution instinct into him, so he's easily frightened. Loud noises, angry creatures larger than him, all sorts of things cause him to hide. It usually doesn't take long for him to perk back up if there's no real danger.
When he was a pup, he and most of his siblings were separated from their mother during a storm. They were all terrified, but luckily they were in the Sikukuu lands and the pride jumped in to help. He was found by a leopard named Nishati, and ever since, he spends all the time he can with her. He loves to make her smile, and she makes him feel safe and happy.

Nema was shunned from her family at an early age. She forced herself to survive, but just barely, with the help of random vegetation and scraps left by others. She was a loner by nature, skittish and distrustful of those around her. To console herself, she created her own little family. At first it started off as harmless fun, a cub's imagination if you will. But as time wore on she became unable to let her imagination go. She realized how terribly she would miss her family when they left her, and chose to keep them. But then she began to realize she needed the assistance of others if she were going to survive. What took longer to realize was that not everyone was very welcoming of a lioness who talked to herself. Try as she might to forget her imaginary friends, they were ingrained in her memory, and they weren't going anywhere.
At the end of her rope, and nearly starving to death, Nema's saving grace came in the form of a chubby black and teal lion by the name of Athena. He forced her to eat a fresh kill and spoke kindly to her, despite her constant whispers into the wind. He invited her to travel with his travelling band of lionesses and himself, but Nema turned him down. Thanking him profusely, though he wouldn't take no for an answer. He instead directed her to a tribe where he had recently been, a place she would fit right in - the Ki'Zaa. Though she wasn't sure what she would find there, she wasn't about to turn down Athena's kindness after everything he had done.
She set out on her journey and made it to her destination in a mere week's time. It only took the madness a day or two to totally infect her, before she was up at all hours of the night speaking to the stars. It's where she learned to dance, and her moves led her to become the Lead Mummer. The changing of the tides, can be amazing teachers if you allow the stars to translate their words.
From there, she lived a relatively normal life until the curse was lifted. At which point, she like the others took on the new roles of the tribe. She traded her starfish band in for her gypsy band and hasn't looked back! Shortly after that she met Dhoru.
Despite her quiet and reserved personality, in her years with the Ki'Zaa, Nema has begun to come out of her shell more and more. Though she'll never be as close or open with them as she is with Dhoru. And even with him she can be a little shy and unsettled. It's ingrained into her memory to always fear the ones you trust the most. Because in time they will come to betray you. She wants to wish it isn't true, but she knows her sister's words are true and always have been. This is why her invisible family will always be the ones she trusts the most.

Relaxed and amicable, Eisio isn't one for constant action. She isn't at all competitive, and might have one aggressive bone in her body if you really push. She doesn't judge and actually celebrates 'weirdness', even if she isn't weird herself.
Before joining the Kizi, Eisio was a wandering rogue. She never really minded being alone. Then, one night, she offered shelter to a rogue male during a bad storm and one thing led to another. The male left, completely unaware of the accidental family. The cubs are all grown up and moved on now and Eisio's having trouble adjusting to being alone again. None of the prides her children went to are to her liking so she decided to find a completely new home.
She loves the energy of the Kizi, and enjoys watching her pridemates go about their day. The quirkiness intrigues her and makes her happy, even if she's only watching. Although, it wouldn't be hard to make this merchant join in the dancing and fun.
