For how confident and haughty the doe usually was, it was a surprise to see a look of uncertainty on Gold's face because of a growing sensation she could clearly feel in her stomach. It wasn't that she disliked it --- it was just, strange and new to her, and certainly there wasn't much she could do but depend on herself, determined to get through this as best she could. She had heard stories of the legendaries, stories that she did not pay much attention to because why would someone as grand as them want to meet one such as her? Why would she even need them? Yet now she found herself searching--almost aimlessly for some sort of help, anything at all.

A tree had fallen across a river several nights ago, affording crossing where there had been none before. Wildflower Breeze had forded the river a day earlier than expected, knowing full well that this detour was part of his schedule. Not the schedule of story telling engagements he kept - that was, per force, a very loose and flexible thing since he had taken on his second occupation. Now he had an employer making new kinds of appointments for him - a very pushy, manipulative employer, with a strange sense of humor. If he didn't follow her cues, he found his life quickly becoming miserable and surreal by turns - once, very early on, several beehives had fallen on him over the course of a day, and one time he had woken up to find someone had built some kind of sculpture of rocks and branches on top of his sleeping form and placed flowers in his open, snoring mouth.
All in all, it was much safer and easier to listen to the Motherfather when she told you you were needed.
So, he took the detour. It brought him along paths and through clearings that were new to his eyes. Also new to his eyes was the disquieted doe farther down the path, distraught and searching aimlessly - that was his cue. As he stepped around a bend in the path and into plain sight, the stag nodded to her and said, "Good afternoon, miss."

She was staring so intently at the ground, worried thoughts muddling her head that she did not immediately notice the bright buck that was close by as fast as she could have. The dark kimeti would have normally replied with a wink of an eye and her lips curled up in a grin but this time she met the other with a stern expression. "What?!---" she snapped, though her disposition changing completely when she laid her eyes upon the stag, looking like she was a child caught in the act of doing something wrong. Gold stayed still in her place, tilting her head to the side and examining the handsome other. "Ah-- sorry I didn't mean to--- a--are you??" She panicked a little inside, terrible with manners and what in the world she should be doing in this situation. "I'm Strike Gold." she started, stating her name was good at first, right? --Perhaps, hopefully. He was the one she was looking for. Kitty Sprightt I have always loved Wildflower Breeze X3

With a gentle smile, he answered, "That is a very easy question to answer. I definitely am, in that I exist." Lifting his head regally, he continues, "But, in all seriousness, my name is Wildflower Breeze. I am, indeed, one of the swamp's blessed, which is, I believe, what you were hoping to find?"Aric Val QuQ really?? agh I'm so flattered sorry for mad late and extremely short tag orz
