Sorrow was confused. Perhaps was a confusing doe, and mother hadn't helped when she started rambling about blessings and legendaries. Fish Bones, she had said. She had talked about him a few times before, but as her son, Sorrow really didn't want to know. Sadly for him, this time she had insisted on telling him more, then took it upon herself to help him find the stag himself. And so, it was how he found himself tagging after his mother, who (in his humble opinion) seemed a bit too eager to help.

Fish Bones heard them first, hooves pounding on the trail, and went to see who was visiting. When he saw Seed he grinned and stepped into her path. "Hello." Further greetings were cut off when he caught site of the buck, and Fish Bones raises his brow in question. "Seeking a blessing?" He asks, wondering if he'd be blessing Seed again or if she was simply acting as a middlekin for this buck.
He didn't ask, though. They were friends but even if they'd had a clutch together it wasn't his place to question who else she has children with. If, that is, Seed's even the one needing a blessing. Fish Bones can detect no sign she's with child, but that doesn't mean anything. "I'm Fish Bones." He says to the buck, both to be polite and to stop his mental wanderings.

"Sorrow," the green buck offered in return, dipping his head in greeting. So this was Fish Bones... Seed stepped in front of Sorrow, touching her nose affectionately to Fish Bone's. "My friend, it's been too long."She paused to beam at him, glad to see him in good health. "This is my eldest son, Sorrow. I wanted to visit you, and he seeks a blessing... I hope you don't mind that he came along too."

Fish Bones returns Seed's nuzzle. "It's good to see you, and yes too long." He says, smiling. Then he turns to look at Sorrow, giving the buck an appraising look. "I don't mind, blessings are always a joy to give."
Fish Bones walks over to Sorrow, giving him another searching look. How to bless this one? He wonder to himself. Nothing but a name to go on, and that he is Seed's eldest son. "May your children be full of life and joy." He says, feeling simple is always best.
He turns to face both and flick his tail toward the path. "You are both welcome to come visit, if you want. Or return another time if you have other things you need to do." He says, hoping that Seed at least will stay for a bit. Fish Bones won't push, though, knowing that preparing for children can take work.
Turning he heads down the path, stopping to give Seed another nuzzle. "I hope to see you soon." He says, deciding to let them decide if they'll go or follow him.
Amizade Since the blessing is done we can continue in a new thread if one or both choose to come visit. FB would also be happy to get a visit when the babies are foal or filly/colt stage. He loves kids.

Joy... there was a wry smile from Sorrow at the blessing. But really, that wasn't so bad. He wasn't sure what he was expecting to happen, but whatever just happened wasn't painful at all. "Thank-you for your blessing, Fish Bones. I will not forget your kindness."
As the stag turned to leave, Seed made eye contact with her son. He shook his head ever so slightly, feeling awkward. "No matter! I will see you later." She gave him a nuzzle before running to catch up with her friend. "Fish Bones! Wait for me!
