It's a really interesting idea, there would be many variants of zombies depending on what animal(s) the zombie has characteristics of. It'd make a pretty cool game!
I really don't want to go up against any zombie sharks, haha.

This does postulate some clever ideas. Perhaps the furries are effected
adversely to the virus, and instead are immune to both the zombie virus and/or
are ignored by the general zombie populous?

This also brings forth questions involving the more mythological species. Can a
dragon... scaly, become a zombie? How about a kitsune? What if the zombie
apocalypse only turn furries? Would we even consider eating humans? Or would
we eat each other?

We could have standard Zombieland-style zombies, slow moving and rather stupid walkers, to 28 Days Later-esque zombies, fast moving and ferocious, or even to the point of Left 4 Dead-type zombies, the ability to mutate and become something more.

I always figured that it didn't depend on what kind of zombie, but rather the behavior. We could have standard Zombieland-style zombies, slow moving and rather stupid walkers, to 28 Days Later-esque zombies, fast moving and ferocious, or even to the point of Left 4 Dead-type zombies, the ability to mutate and become something more.

I think it'd be more like L4D/Killing Floor with the different species!

Yesh, duct tape fixes everything, now, your first suggestion. It could be a possibility that all anthros could be immune or ignored. Secondly, if we stick to the whole "anyone can become infected" then yes, even mythological can turn. If only furries were affected, then I'm sure we'd go after humans and not each other.

I agree. After all, the humans are the ones causing problems for us, not each other. Why go after each other? razz

But in all seriousness-- I'm a vegetarian! That could be a problem for me!
