Alex winces, trying to pull her leg away.

He attempts to grab her leg and stop her from moving it.
In other words, nailing it into the floor with a knife.

Jack can't call for help as it would result in his death.

Corey starts crying when he hears his mommy scream.

Epic Notices that a vine is grasping his arm.

"Three o'clock again? I hardly got to use the lightning power."

He pulls out yet another knife, and attempts to grab her arm.

He cuts various lines in one area, oh, he's writing something.

Epic Man rushes upstairs and sees what's happening. He pulls out a large plant like cannon.

Alex just knows pain... and her child's crying, somehow that makes everything worse.
