Domesticated War

[Duchess Marie]

Several members of the Shimmer tribe were trying not to stare at Kolo, but he looked out of place. "I can show you to your quarters," Le'si offered.

"Please do. I can tell people are uneasy with me. Makes me wish we were in my village."  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si led him to a grand house with rich decorations on the outside and inside. "You may have this dwelling. Also, in regards to a servant, do you have a preference?"  

[Reciter5613]

"I see you spared no expense. As for a servant, I prefer someone of my tribe. I will send for one soon. For now I should clean up if I am to speak with the princess."  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si nodded to him with respect, "and how should I tell my people to address you? Prince Kolo or do you wish some other title?"

"Just Kolo is fine." He then started removing his armor.  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si looked strange, "D'lin may call you that; I am sure the king and queen will do so. However, our people will not call you by your name only."  

[Reciter5613]

"They are free to call me whatever they wish. Now where shall I freshen up?"  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si showed him to a wash room inside his house. "I will bring you some boiled water so that your water is warm since your servant is not here yet." She picked up a wooden bucket, "will there be anything else?"

"Would you know someone who can polish my armor and sword? That would be nice."  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si put the bucket to hang from her arm and held out her hands for his things. "I can take them to the smith. He will have them looking like new in no time."

Sometime later, Kolo finished washing up the waited for his equipment to be brought back.  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si brought Kolo's things back and knocked on the door of his temporary home.

Kolo hears the knock. "You may enter."  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si walked in slowly carrying his armor, shined and polished. "Here are your things as you asked, Prince Kolo."
