She had met the tiger buck now and again, and enjoyed his company more than once. The easy-going doe had just come from a meeting with the tiger. She giggled, thinking about how fun it was to run into the buck in the oddest of places.
Though typically, Lost Trail would now be wandering aimlessly through the swamp, exploring, and like her namesake, become lost in thick foliage. But tonight was not like most nights. She was actually on a mission, seeking someone. There were rumors of a legendary around these parts, so she decided... why not go find the elder, and ask him or her a ... favor so she could surprise the tiger next time she ran into him.

 Fish Bones stopped to watch the doe, his small form partially hidden by some leaves. He could sense the start of new life inside her, and watched for signs that she is seeking one like him.
She's looking for something. he thinks to himself, coming out of cover. Fish Bones sits on his haunches and watches the doe.

The sound of movement made the pale doe's ears flicker. She spotted the foxbun soon enough when he left the cover of leaves. She tilted her head at the creature and offered it a faint smirk. "Little one." She was about to step past in her search, but then... she looked back at it's glowing eyes and smiled a little wider.
"You wouldn't happened to have seen a large... ah... more grown up kin then myself around here, have you?" She didn't expect an answer. But the bun was cute, so she talked to it like she would a kin, and resisted the urge to kiss it's brown nose.

Fish Bones takes a hop toward her and gives a grin. Yes, I have. he thinks to her.

That had caught her by surprise. She heard a voice, and glanced about first, then looked back to the bun. Her ears half cocked and her head slanted to the side as she stared at it. "Can you show me?" She didn't know where to even look, and if this... foxbun could talk and tell her, then maybe...
Oh this was all quite exciting to her!

Maybe he should have been more to the point, Fish Bones thinks at her reply. It's hard for me to take you to myself. he thinks at her with a friendly tease in his smile.
He hops closer to her, putting a paw on her knee. What do you need? he asks.

Well now. That would make things-
Wait.
She thought about what the bun had just said. "Ah! So you can change forms when-" wait no. Now was not the time to get sidetracked. She shook her head, deciding to ask later. Lost cleared her throat. "I'm not sure this is so much a need, as a desire. But I... er..." How to explain. "Want to surprise someone. ... And I heard a blessing from an elder would... help with that sort of surprise."

He nods in understanding and takes a moment to gather his thoughts. Health is always a good one.. But using the same thing gets boring. Maybe something different this time. May your children never be lost. Fish Bones says, using a more formal thought tone then his earlier teasing.

Lost's face lit up at the others words. "Why thank you." Though the irony of his choice of words and her given name wasn't lost on her, even if she hadn't introduced herself. Without thinking, she leaned down and bumped her nose against the foxbun's in an affectionate little kiss, forgetting a moment that she was speaking to a stag, and not in fact a cute bun.

Fish Bones returns the nuzzle, then turns around and hops back into cover. He stops there a moment to give her a wave, and then is off, heading home.
