[PRP] What a Gloomy Day. (Haki & Ea Moeshe)

It was raining. A gloomy atomosphere hung in the sky, bringing with it the illusion that it was still early morning, or becoming night. In truth it was mid-afternoon, the time which the sun would usually dominate the skys, but alas, not today. Instead water fell from the sky, landing right inside of a little Jackal burrow.

Haki was sleeping when he felt a little drop of water land of his nose. He wiggled his nose, and half-sneezed which caused him to wake. Then he looked outside his burrow at the grassland he was in. He sighed and rose to his feet. Burrows were nice and cozy and warm, or cool when hot. But now since he was awake, and that it was raining, he had to somehow keep his den from becoming a mud-puddle.

It was wet, he was catching a cold, and he couldn't find the right path back to Mother Andromeda. He was shaking as he get walking until he saw a den with the scent of a...male jackal. Knowing he one time saved a jackal from peril, he started to make a way for the water to flow around the poor things den and watching the entrance, make a hole so the water collects and follows his path. "Your welcome!" He said into the Jackal's den then finding a tree that has a hole inside and dry near the den, he crawled inside it and waited for the rain to stop.

Haki poked his head out of the den and looked around for whomever helped him. He could, if he wanted to, use his nose and find the scent. But he doubted that a new scent like that would survive the rain. So instead he looked in the direction of what remaind of the scent was strongest. "I don't think this rain will let up any time soon." He shouted as to be heard over the sound of the rain-- which was progressingly getting heavier and heavier. "Why don't you come in here." He offered. Now that the water flow wasn't anywhere near his burrow it would be nice and dry inside.

He sighed and decided to. Quickly going to the den, he crawled carefully inside but dug it a bit bigger, making a room for Ea and he looked at the Jackal.

Haki shook off whatever water managed to get onto his fur. He was trying to decide what this boy was. A lion cub? No he didn't look quite like one. Perhapes a cheetah cub? Haki decided to go with cheetah, though he wouldn't mention the boy's assumed species until later. "Are you hungry?" Haki asked. He considered it hospitality to offer food to visitors, and he had some hare left over from earlier this morning.

Ea's twitched his ears and smiled. "Sure, i'm starved! Rest of the family is in to much pain to hunt so i haven't had much." He said happily.

Haki skidded over to the back of his den and came back with a rabbit leg. "This probabley isn't much either," he said as he dropped the leg in front of the cub. "But it's better than nothing."
