Frenzy Boar Pack: Boar 1: 9 Boar 3: 2 The boar was getting weak. Little by little, the anger started to whittle away, and be replaced with a sense of the last moment of it's life. As a last ditch effort, the boar did a final dash forward and headbutt the woman as hard as it could.

Zuri fell back from being hit by the boar, but stayed silent before slashing her sword across its face from her sitting position. She smiled as it exploded into a bunch of polygons and breathed a sigh of relief after glancing back and seeing that Qore was only one strike away from killing his boar. She laid back on the grass with her arms outstretched at her sides before seeing the lovely message pop up in regards to what she had acquired from this battle......

The boar watched it's comrade get blown into polygons and had a feeling this would be its fate as well. But before that, it decided to hit the swordsman with as much power as it possibly could in the gut once again.

Qore was hit again, and his vision was now bordered with a very thick line of red. He was knocked flat on his face, and quickly picked him self back. Unleashing a <> at the boar's backside did the final number on it, and it fell over, exploding into glowing polygons of numerical data and binary code. Having the life sapped out of him, he collapsed on the ground, enjoying the feeling of not being engaged in battle. He took in the scent of the grass before rolling over and staring at the sky, until a message popped in front of his retinas and focused into view.

Frenzy Boar Pack: Boar 1: 0 Boar 3: 0 With all of it's health depleted, the boar couldn't keep going on. With a final squeal, it burst into polygons and was no more. So much for grazing on the plains...
The screen that popped up in front of her showed that she had acquired two boar tusks and 71 col from that long, drawn out battle, but at least she leveled up as well! Zuri sighed, but felt Qore fall down nearby her and roll around a bit. She didn't know if he noticed, but she saw that his head was right beside hers and she stared at him for a little bit before raising her hand to tap him on the other side of his head. "We should probably go back to town and get some HP vials and see if we regain our health there," she spoke pretty softly and with a smile as she continued to look at him. "Thanks for sticking around too..."
The battle was over, and Qore's breaths slowly returned to normal. After a while at staring at the winnings of the page, he put it away and stared up at the wandering clouds. A tap on his forehead drew him out of his thoughts, and listened as Zuri suggested that the both of them head to town. He sighed and said, "I agree, let's head back." Then added after Zuri's last statement, "Well, if I'm going to be the head of this 'brigade', I'll have to keep on the battle! Eugh..." He then pumped his fist defiantly towards the heavens, but being fatigued, allowed it to hit him in the face as he dropped it down. With much effort, he managed to sit back up, using his sword to get him back up. He then went over to Zuri, offering her a hand to help her up. ((O.C.C: ))
Zuri listened to Qore's response to what she had suggested. She watched from her position as he struggled to get back up and offered to help her. Smiling, she took his hand, but used most of her own strength to stand up. After nodding her appreciation toward him, she turned toward the Town of Beginning and started walking in front of him in that direction.
Qore sheathed his sword on his back after helping Zuri back up. A small amount of money was all that he got, but he hoped that he could get some potions to keep him alive when things got rough, and he felt a pang of hunger as he followed Zuri to Town. Maybe boar steak sandwiches would be good about the time he got to town...
Katsuo laughed lightly at Anri's responses, able to tell she was having a hard time following a lot of what he was explaining, but then again, anyone who hadn't really ever played games before would. "Okay, Anri it is then." he said, watching her raise her sword and swing it down onto an incoming boar's head only to have it bounce right off, the boar then letting out a loud squeal and leaping at her. "No need to panic. These are the easiest monsters in the game, just stay calm, keep an eye on your health bar, and attack it like so." Katsuo said as he took a stance, his sword beginning to glow a light blue, dashing towards the boar he slashed his sword upwards performing the 'Uppercut' skill, getting a critical hit dealing an extra 25% worth of damage to the boar, on top of the already additional 20% from the use of his skill.

((I rolled a 13 for damage, rolled a critical hit, and used 'Uppercut', so 13*1.20=15.6*1.25=19.5 rounding down to 19. It is 18 with 15.6 truncated down to 15 before multiplying. But I wasn't sure if I should have truncated all of them or just the final result. Also, pretty bad post, just couldn't think of anything at the moment.))

Anri didn't manage to evade that boar's attack after all. It jumped into her really fast, while she was still backing off, rendering her unable to evade into any other direction. What did she have that running skill for again? Oh, she did recall one of her skills! But it somehow wasn't the right time to be happy about it.

Surprisingly enough she did feel the collision, but no pain. She struggled a bit to not lose her balance. The green bar, which had been in her field of vision for so long that she already had forgotten about it, got smaller right after she got hit. Only a little bit, but the decline stayed. She did have some vague hunch about its purpose, but had somehow been able to avoid thinking about it too hard - until now. Several thoughts crossed her mind simultaneously. Green bar = health. If I get hit, it gets reduced. When it reaches 0... The commotion earlier... Anyone who dies in the game, dies in the real world, too.
Anri suddenly had to fight against some late share of panic. Knowledge could be cruel sometimes. But unfortunately - or was it fortune? - she wasn't that much of an emotional person and wasn't quite sure how to freak out properly. As she started thinking about it, it already seemed too much trouble and so she calmed down again rather fast. She'd probably have to watch out for her health a lot. What a drag. Did she really want to do this? She realized Katsuo was talking to her, but only managed to get the last "...and attack it like so".
"W-What?", she asked a little bit swamped, but he already was busy with the boar. Wait, the sparkles! How could she not realize this earlier? The remaining nervousness from her previous discovery got mixed up with some excitement again. "Oh... oh! I think I got it!"
Some flashy 19 popped up above the boar as Katsuo's sword hit and the health bar of the foe dropped. Anri raised her sword again, but this time waited for the sparkles as well. And, she didn't really know how to describe it, but she could somehow feel something activating. She was so surprised that she didn't really aim for the boar when striking, but somehow her sword found the target on its own. As if it had an own will or something.

"Hah!", she rejoiced. After realizing that she just embarrassed herself again, she added a bit more composed, "That wasn't as hard actually."

Moments later, Shirou passed through the gates, entering the vast fields once again. Pausing to examine his surroundings, he realized that there were definitely more people around now, as compared to the day before. However, considering he had only entered this area in the evening, he couldn't say for sure. What mattered now was that the more people there were, the harder it'll be to find boars to fight. He had to raise his level quickly and move on before the starter areas become flooded, whenever that may be.
Drawing his sword, he began to move to the nearest group of boars, which noticed his presence and stopped eating virtual grass, growling menacingly as they began to paw the ground.

Stepping into the plains, the first thing that came into his mind is none other than the wolf's killing again. Fear, of the very same fate that might happen to him in these area, might have taken some into despair. Durancelot, however, grins. " I just have to get stronger than them as fast as i can... even if it takes me days of slaughtering these pigs... " Not letting the death scene extinguish his spirit, Durancelot roars as he charges at the pack of boars behind Shirou. " All at once, eh ? I'll turn you folks into butadon buffet ! " he said as he brandishes his arms at the incoming adversaries.
Boar 3 snorted derisively, thinking it was an easy fight, and charged forward without a second thought. At the last moment, the human miraculously twisted out of the way without so much as a scratch. Furious, the boar charged forward a few more meters before slowing to a stop to face its adversary.

One of the boars started charging back in response seeing Durancelot rushing at him. " HAHA ! " roared Lance as he exchanged a straight spear jab with a grazing blow from the boar, effectively throwing the boar away in the momentum, rolling on the floor. He would then bash his spear to the ground, taunting the others. " Yeah ?! Who wants some more ? Come ! " provoked the halberd wielder towards a bunch of virtual swines, although deep down he would have known that these monsters won't react to mere words.
