2012 Doctor Who Season Start Date

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you knew when the new 2012 season of Doctor Who is going to start? I'm getting kind of restless, I can't wait!!!

My best friend said the Season 7 premier is August 25 in the UK. I am not sure and I can actually do the research myself if you want, but that is what I was told. I hope so 'cause that would be AMAZING! August 25 is my mom's birthday.

All I know is that BBC America started airing ads that say it's returning soon.

Originally BBC America announced the start date as September 1st in the US but lately Doctor Who and the TARDIS on Facebook has been announcing it as September 8th. There will be another announcement coming soon about what the official air date will be for Series 7.

I'm curious to see how Series 7 will play out given with all the warnings we were given in "The Wedding of River Song" on Eleven's fate.

Then again ever since they brought the new series back Moffat has loved to play with our heads.

I'm eagerly anticipating the new Eighth Doctor audios as well from Big Finish seeing that Paul McGann is now wearing Eight's new outfit with is leading me to believe that we are inching closer to Eight's final role in the Time War. Though BBC has said they would never show it and Eccelston has said he would never come back to Doctor Who (*sighs* and Nine is my Doctor followed by Eight) but a gal can dream.

I just watched an advertisement that it will be airing on Space (the channel I watch it on here in Canada) on September 1 2012. I hear that the Doctor is getting a new companion this season. I wonder what happens to Amy and Rory? Why would they leave the Doctor?

Maybe they get a sort of sick sense of pleasure from it, kinda like when you play a video game where you like killing this one character all the time, not because you have to, but because you want to... or it could have a meaning behind it.

You guys are lucky you get to watch it on T.V I don't have any channel that airs it. stare I have to wait until it goes to DVD to even watch any of it. crying
