Utanzi was tired and happy, but not so much so that he didn't have time for others. He was always keen on helping other lions, and did not realize that this was a trait he shared with his father.
He also did not know that the father he never met was actually in the same pride as him now, and they had not yet crossed paths. It was probably for the best though, as they would probably bump heads and give each other concussions if they met.
Utanzi had inherited just a fraction of Hadaya's fail.
But it was more than enough.
He saw a lioness nearby and decided to go say hi. At least he was not as socially awkward as his father. For better or worse. He bounded over, and one of his paws landed right on her tail. He felt it under his pad, knew what it was, and jerked himself back onto his back two feet. He teetered for a moment, an apology on his tongue, in his eyes, but he fell over before he had a chance to eep it out.
At least he fell away from her.
Still, it was not his most graceful introduction.
