Once the few men still alive finally made way for her, Suzume merely walked past them without a glance. Of course she did not give chase to those who ran. If they would no longer fight, then there was no reason to kill them, she was only here for her targets. When she finally made it to the next room, her blade was dripping with blood at this point and Suzume was feeling a little less patient at the moment. She'd hoped after the first time, all of the henchmen would have taken a hint and left her alone. With a flick of her blade, the blood on it flew off, hitting the floor and some of the wall in an arcing, splattered line. Immediately spotting the blade he was holding, she said "... let's begin then."
That said, she took a defensive stance, hoping to catch him on the counter and end the battle quickly.

It was at that moment, a bird flew down to her, carrying a message which she promptly read. Paling slightly at the news, she looked to her opponent and said "I will come back for you later." Turning, she headed back up the stairs, meeting with Kin's cousin and quickly dragging him back with her to Kumo.
