The hunt had gone well, and even Ankara was pleased with the haul they had brought back. Sure, it was only a small meal compared to the large pride, but it was a good start for the day. She nodded her good byes to the rest of the hunting party before setting off in search of a good place to rest for a time, before she returned to check on Mohombi and her children. It was nice getting back to hunting though, she had certainly missed it, but it was something he couldn’t help with a litter to care for, and now that they were getting older she was glad to return to her duties.
However a bit of a rest beforehand seemed too good an idea to pass up, and she was sure that her mate could handle things for a bit longer. With that thought in mind she made her way to a rock situated close to the more heavily treaded areas below Pride Rock. It was a good place to catch any news she may have missed.
