Avery WelshireDaughter of ThemisOkay, it might've been a little late for someone as young as Avery to be walking around alone in the woods. Just like it might've been a little odd that she was so far from her school in the first place, or that she wasn't working. Well... Avery was frustrated and angry beyond all belief. She didn't want it to be this way, but she was recently fired from her most recent job working at an electronics store for arguing with a customer, and without her job there, she didn't have enough money to pay for this year. Maybe she was misguided. Maybe she was supposed to go back to Camp Half Blood and help teach. Maybe she wasn't cut out for living in this world. So here she was, stomping angrily through the woods, hoping to maybe catch some peace. She was close to the camp, after all, and maybe just the nearness of the camp would help her out. She didn't know. She was too angry at herself to know. Then she stopped in her tracks. Was that smell... smoke? Who was out here? She took off her ring, letting all reason drift away, and ran toward the smell, feeling the weight of the sword in her hand. When she got there, she stopped dead in her tracks, staring at the three and the now-out fire. She stood there a moment, still, just watching them, and then her eyes settled on the girl. She looked familiar. Almost like she knew her. Was she... "Celestia?"

Celestia heard her name being called out and turned her head. She saw a girl, standing there with a sword in her hands. It was Avery, of all the people in this world. A smile spread across her face. Avery? Celestia spoke out, making sure it really was the girl standing there, and not some figment of her imagination, or a different person holding a sword, perhaps someone posing as a threat to her. Avery! She chirped, finally coming to the conclusion that it was her after all. Celestia ran towards her and tackled her with a huge hug, almost like a child tacked her mother after the school day. it had been some time since they last seen each other. What are you doing here in the woods? She stood up, eyeing the girl who had popped up out of no where. Could she be the threat they were facing about this whip? Could Avery be the person out to steal it? Did she send the lion? Celestia backed away, gripping her cell phone tightly. If Avery made any sudden movement with her sword, Celestia would press a button instantly, and the phone would morph into any kind of weapon. Her backpack suddenly grew heavy at the thought of a fight, the nemion lion coat hung out slightly, the zipper wasn't fully closed. If anything were to happen, Celestia would tie the fur on her neck, fashioning a long cape. The fur was after all invincible, it would serve as protection towards an older and more experienced demi god. Then, a thought dawned upon the white haired girl, Avery wasn't one to backstab the demigods, let alone the gods themselves. She was a daughter of Themis, and truth and fairness was one of her best qualities. Celestia gradually put her phone back into her pocket, though her guard was still up.

Celestia's hand moved away from her pocket as she calmed down. It wasn't her fault for being so on the edge about everything. In one day, her entire life changed dramatically. Her father learned about her existence, she was put in charge of a quest that ultimately means the life or death of the demigods and the gods, her lie about being an Aphrodite kid is gone, and she was just attacked by an almost indestructible lion that Hercules took his time killing. So yea, when one of her old friends suddenly pops up out of no where, she has to be at leaste a little suspicious. Yea, we didn't really volunteer for this. The fate of the demigods and big 12 are in our hands really. She tried to explain as little as possible, even though she trusted Avery. Wait, Avery in the middle of the forest, when town is nearly 10 miles away? That must mean...she drove here! They could hitch a ride maybe! Say, yo don't happen to have a car do you? And room for all of us? She asked, hoping it wouldn't be to much trouble. They had to get to town asap, before dark, and so far, Avery was their only hope of doing so.

Celestia smiled when Avery told her she had a car. perfect, that god rid of that problem now didn't it? Could you drive us too the nearest town? If your busy, we can pay you. Celestia grabbed a handful of rubies and opals from her bag, now, how could she turn down that offer? With our luck, it probably will be a hydra, and it would be at the Olympics, on international television. Not sure what the humans would see, but it won't be pretty, thats for sure. Celestia shuddered at the thought. She could totally see a new broadcast right now, three teenagers battle some dude who doesn't die and then all three get arrested. Now, that isn't exactly what she wants.
