Hello! Welcome to Camp Half Blood, home of the children of the great gods and goddesses of Greek mythology. Here we provide not only a safe home for your children, but activities and classes to tain them for the future life of a demi god. Our very own pegasus stable fully stocked with dozens of pegesi and suger cube allow our students to take a break from our rigorous training exercises and soar in the sky. We have a rock climbing wall with lave stones, a race track for those who love to show off their speed, and a forest with wild beasts roaming around freely, ready to taste the the ends of your children's bloody spears.
Your children will stay along with their siblings in their godly parents cabin, designed specifically to enhance their experience. If you and your child is unsure of who their godly parent is, they will stay in the Hermes cabin until, and if, they are claimed. We even have cabins for those born from minor gods.
We do our best to keep our environment safe and fun for your child. However there is one slight complication. We are at war with their godly parents. |

The Gods that share your blood.
Aphrodite- The goddess of love, beauty and desire. Although married to Hephaestus she had many lovers, most notably Ares. She was depicted as a beautiful woman. Her symbols include the rose, scallop shell, pomegranate, and myrtle wreath. Her sacred animal is the dove.
Apollo-The god of music, healing, plague,the sun prophecies, poetry, and archery; associated with light, truth and the sun. He is Artemis' twin brother and Hermes' elder brother, and son of Zeus and Leto. He was depicted as a handsome, beardless youth with long hair and various attributes including a laurel wreath, bow and quiver, raven, and lyre. Animals sacred to Apollo include dolphins, roe deer, swans, cicadas, hawks, ravens, crows, foxes, and snakes.
Ares- The god of war, bloodlust, violence, manly courage, and civil order. The son of Zeus and Hera, he was depicted as either a mature, bearded warrior dressed in battle arms, or a nude beardless youth with helm and spear. His attributes are golden armour and a bronze-tipped spear. His sacred animals are the vulture, venomous snakes, alligators, dogs, and boars.
Artemis- Virgin goddess of the hunt, wilderness, animals, young girls, childbirth and plague. In later times she became associated with the moon. She is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and twin sister of Apollo. In art she was usually depicted as a young woman dressed in a short knee-length chiton and equipped with a hunting bow and a quiver of arrows. In addition to the bow, her attributes include hunting spears, animal pelts, deer and other wild animals. Her sacred animals are deer, bears, and wild boars.
Athena- The goddess of wisdom, warfare, battle strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. According to most traditions, she was born from Zeus's head fully formed and armored. She was depicted crowned with a crested helm, armed with shield and a spear. Her symbol is the olive tree. She is commonly shown accompanied by her sacred animal, the owl.
Demeter- The goddess of agriculture, horticulture, grain and harvest. Demeter is a daughter of Cronus and Rhea and sister of Zeus, by whom she bore Persephone. She was depicted as a mature woman, often crowned and holding sheafs of wheat and a torch. Her symbols are the Cornucopia (horn of plenty), wheat-ears, the winged serpent and the lotus staff. Her sacred animals are pigs and snakes
Dionysus- The god of wine, parties and festivals, madness, drunkenness and pleasure at forever young. He was depicted in art as either an older bearded god or a pretty effeminate, long-haired youth. His attributes include the thyrsus (a pinecone-tipped staff), drinking cup, grape vine, and a crown of ivy. Animals sacred to him include dolphins, serpents, tigers, and donkeys. A later addition to the Olympians, in some accounts he replaced Hestia.
Hades- King of the Underworld and god of the dead and the hidden wealth of the Earth. His consort is Persephone and his attributes are the key of Hades, the Helm of Darkness, and the three-headed dog, Cerberus. The screech owl was sacred to him. Despite being the son of Cronus and Rhea and the elder brother of Zeus, as a chthonic god he is only rarely listed among the Olympians. The name Pluto became more common in the Classical period with the mystery religions and Athenian literature.He did not have a throne in Olympus, but is still very known for being one of the three sons of Cronus.
Hephaestus- Crippled god of fire, metalworking, stonemasonry, sculpture and volcanism. The son of Hera by parthenogenesis, he is the smith of the gods and the husband of the adulterous Aphrodite. He was usually depicted as a bearded man holding hammer and tongs—the tools of a smith—and riding a donkey. His symbols are the hammer, tongs, and anvil. His sacred animals are the donkey, the guard dog and the crane.
Hera- Queen of marriage, women, childbirth, heirs, kings and empires. She is the wife of Zeus and daughter of Cronus and Rhea. She was usually depicted as a beautiful woman wearing a crown and veil and holding a royal, lotus-tipped staff. Her sacred animals are the heifer, the lion, the peacock, and the cuckoo.
Hermes- The god of travel, messengers, trade, thievery, cunning wiles, language, writing, diplomacy, athletics, and animal husbandry. He is the messenger of the gods, a psychopomp who leads the souls of the dead into Hades' realm, and the son of Zeus and Maia. He was depicted either as a handsome and athletic beardless youth, or as an older bearded man. His attributes include the herald's wand or caduceus, winged sandals, and a traveler's cap. His sacred animals are the tortoise, the ram, and the hawk.
Hestia- Virgin goddess of the hearth, home and cooking. She is a daughter of Rhea and Cronus and sister of Zeus. She was depicted as a modestly veiled woman, whose symbols are the hearth and kettle. In some accounts, she gave up her seat as one of the Twelve Olympians in favor of Dionysus.
Poseidon- The god of the sea, rivers, floods, droughts, earthquakes, and the creator of horses; known as the "Earth Shaker". He is a son of Cronus and Rhea and brother to Zeus and Hades. In classical artwork, he was depicted as a mature man of sturdy build with a dark beard, and holding a trident. The horse and the dolphin are sacred to him.
Zeus- The king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky, weather, thunder, lightning, law, order, and fate. He is the youngest son of Cronus and Rhea, whom he overthrew after Cronus swallowed his brothers and sisters and he is brother-husband to Hera. In artwork, he was depicted as a regal, mature man with a sturdy figure and dark beard. His usual attributes are the royal scepter and the lightning bolt, and his sacred animals are the eagle and the bull.

3. This is a PG-13 RP, so romance is allowed, but keep it, well, PG-13
4. Use a color for speaking, it can be any one you want.
5. PM your profiles before you post them so I can read them over and see if corrections are needed.
6. POST MORE THAN ONCE A DAY!!!!! If you do not, you will be thrown out of the RP. If you can not, don't join. PM me your excuses (ie: sick, working late, homework,...)
7. Everyone can have only one RPC. I myself will play two, only because it is part of the plot, I can assure you.
8. I only want three people in this RP including myself, if a fourth person asks before the plot starts, I will allow them to join, however no one else.
9. The gods are NPCs, non player characters. However at one point, one of the gods will become a character, the others will be played when needed by different people each time.

Abilities ( Genetically from their godly parent): Lightning/electricity, as well as flight.
Favorite weapon: Celestia was given a bow, who she named lunar from Artemis. It came with no arrows, all she had to do was pull back on the string, and a lightning arrow would take place. She also has a cell phone, made by Haphestus, which she paid dearly for. Each button resembles a different weapon. All she has to do is press #1, and the phone transforms into a sword.
Personality: Celestia is a highly outgoing, perky, energetic teenager. She loves the thrill of battle, and the moment when she faces death, and conquers him. Though there is much she would risk however, she would never willingly put her friends in danger. She tries to be as much unlike her father as she possible can. Though no matter how much she tries, she will always be stubborn as he is. She hates to apologies and always assumes she is right. Absolutely loathing anyone who forces her to change her opinion on anything, or who is simply mean, Celestia will make it very obvious who she does and doesn't like. Sometimes, She acts without thinking, though only when she is absolutely furious. When she is calm and relaxed, she can be quite cunning and manipulative, and even convincing. Though she would never lie to her friends, unless the situation is right.
History: Celestia was only a newborn when she was represented with the first danger of her life. Her mother, Amy Lovebelle, was the most beautiful and fetching mortal Zeus had ever seen. Though she was only a human, she very well could have been blessed by Aphrodite, or even a daughter of the goddess of love and beauty. Only, Zeus assumed only an immortal such as himself could have such a gorgeous quality. He immediately fell in love with her, and Amy, sensing the great power within Zeus, fell in love with him. Zeus never hid the fact he was a god from her, he assumed she wouldn't be surprised, she was after ll an immortal. the question of why she lived on the earth never crossed his mind.
One night, she asked to see Zeus's true glory, and never doubting she would burn to ash instantly, Zeus agreed. And of course, that is exactly what happened, however, not before she conceived a daughter. Zeus, afraid of the mockery of the other gods, decided this child coud not live another day. She sent Hermes, the messenger god, off to the woods to kill the new born. Hermies, afraid of his father's wrath, quickly grabbed the girl and flew off towards the dark forest. However, during the flight, Hermies glanced down at the sleeping baby's face, and thought to himself, how could he do this to his own sister? Hermies quickly hatched a plan, he would give the girl to Artemis, goddess of the hunt and virgin woman. Since Artemis never was at the Olympic thrown room, always off doing who know what, she was a perfect candidate to care for the girl. Artemis never could turn her back on a young maiden. And so, that is how Artemis then claimed the titel of Celestia's mother, and she was a great one at that. When Celestia turned 11, Artemis decided it was time for the girl to join the camp, since she couldn't keep her hidden forever. Artemis's last gift to the girl was a bow, made from the moon's brilliant beams, and the gift of animal speaking.
Celestia hasn't told anyone about her past, as well as the fact Zeus is her father.
Skills: Celestia can speak to animals, sing, act, and run swifter then the wind.
Other (optional): Celestia is always haunted by the fact her father tried to kill her, though only sometimes she will let others know how she feels. She also pretends to be a daughter of Aphrodite, so that is the cabin she stays in. No one knows she really is the daughter of Zeus, and her entire back story is a haze to everyone else at camp. She never user her powers over electricity in public, and since she almost never uses them, she is very much out of practice.

Abilities ( Genetically from their godly parent): The ability to speak to animals, create arrows of pure energy, draw power from the moon, and see in the dark. Crescent has also been blessed with eternal chastity and innocence so he can't be affected by love potions or any other tricks coming from Aphrodite's domain.
Favorite weapon: his trusty bow
Personality: Crescent is generally an easy guy to get along with, if not a bit shy and quiet, a trait he has from growing up learning to hunt, the key mentality of hunting being "stay quiet and don't be seen". Due to being raised primarily by his mother he's had a general distrust of men nearly beaten into his head since he could talk, and as such will almost all ways believe a woman over a man. Plus he tends to treat women with alot of respect, revering them as something higher than himself. Also he knows almost nothing about "intimate affairs" his mother wanting to keep him pure and innocent like she had been. He tends to see the world with a much simpler view than most, which makes him come off as naive or dumb.
History: Crescent was born after his mother Artemis was on a hunting trip one day and met a young man (Christopher Waltz) taking refuge in her forest. Naturally seeing the male on her territory she immediately began to think of some cruel way to kill him, but after talking to him she found him to be gentle and kind, and for the first time choose not to brutally kill him like she did most of the other men she came across. After a while they fell in love and got married. Though seeing as it was Artemis it was a sexless marriage, which Crescents father managed to see past only brining them closer. It would be 4 more years after that that she finally gave in to her desires and finally renounced her eternal chastity and they had Crescent.
Now Crescent's dad was good man, but more the gentle shy type, so Artemis ended up the chief authority figure for their son and ended up teaching Crescent everything he knows about hunting and survival. She also taught him that most men were evil and vulgar and couldn't be trusted. When he reached puberty Artemis had Crescent "blessed" with eternal chastity, and refused to remove it until he found someone he really loved, like she did.
Skills: Hunting, survival, foraging, archery, parkour
Other: due to his mom constantly telling him how evil men are all his life, he has a small self depreciation complex, and secretly wishes he could be a girl.

Abilities: Superhuman strength, reflexes, and agility. He is also skilled with nearly every bladed weapon he's ever picked up and his senses of sight and hearing are inhumanly keen. He seems to have a natural talent for strategy and can think as a foe would, making him extremely dangerous on the battlefield.
Favorite weapon: Prefers a short spear with a long blade, but is known to carry throwing knives on his person.
Personality: Brash, stubborn, sometimes can be surprisingly quiet and thoughtful. Does have a fairly harsh temper due to his father. Doesn't trust easily, but once his loyalty is given, he will do whatever it takes to protect his friends.
History: Sòlas grew up in Dublin, Ireland, but recently moved to the United States. He is used to wide open spaces and is fond of climbing trees and running. All he knows about his father is that he is cold, harsh, and sometimes unfriendly, as he's never met Ares face-to-face.
As far as he knows, his mother had vanished on a trip back to Dublin, which left him alone for a time until he found his way to the camp. He is uncertain what happened to her, but has proven himself extremely skilled with most weapons.
Skills: Hand-to-hand combat, sword combat, tracking, observation, strategic genius
Other: Unknown to him, his mother is the daughter of the Mórrígan, the Irish goddess of battle. She is known for potent elemental powers over wind and stone as well as fire.

Godly Parent: Themis
Abilities: The ability to easily separate truth from fiction, (she can "see" a lie) to see anyone's past crimes and misdoings, and to be able to touch and use the scales of truth and sword of justice or anything similar. After all, most mortals and demigods cannot touch them, for the original ones would burn them (kind of like seeing a god's true form) and any replicas simply wouldn't work. She also has slight oracular powers, and can see someone's past or glimpses of their future.
She cannot sense a lie if the person telling it thinks it is true. Only the scales of truth can do so.
Favorite weapon: A sword, similar in look (but not in function) to the sword of justice. It was one of two gifts given to her by her mother, and it can be disguised as a ring that she almost always wears. The sword itself can never be lost, broken, or tarnished in any manner.
On a side note, she also carries a replica of the scales of truth in the necklace she wears, which she can use to help detect lies, warped truths, and lies by omission, as well as the strength and truth of an argument (which she can't do on her own,) but she rarely uses it, save for when she really needs it.
Personality: Avery is determined and stubborn, with a strong sense of justice. She refuses to do anything that she finds is wrong, and won't let anyone around her do so, either. Despite this, she can be understanding with people, often sympathizing with their predicaments and wanting to help if she can. She prefers to be seen as an open book, and will share her opinions on everything, though she won't enforce them on anything else. If she feels she is being manipulated, she often does the opposite of what the person wants her to do, and has a strong eye for propaganda.
History: Avery was the only child of Themis and Michel Welshire, a former supreme court judge. She was given to Camp Half-Blood at the age of 4, after Themis decided to leave her father, and has lived there ever since. She grew quite popular, and knew almost everybody in the camp, but as she lived there longer and longer, she knew more and more that she eventually had to leave her extended family. At the age of 16, she left the camp for good.
Since then, she has gone to law school, hoping to become a lawyer, and perhaps eventually a judge, so she can make use of her mother's gifts. She has become well versed with the mortal world, and now has her own home, car, and is currently working to pay for her second year of law school...
Skills: A skilled debater, can cook, can drive, swordplay, acting, public speaking, and basic survival skills.
Other: She has only vague memories of her parents, and wishes that perhaps, one day, she can live up to their shadow. She knows that this is highly unlikely, though, due to the standard set by Themis.

And didn't she swear an oath never to do.. y'know... with men? >_> (yeah....kind of explained in my guys bio....infact I'm pretty sure I dedicated an entire paragraph specifically to clearing up that point) I know, but she was pretty serious about that chastity, I don't think she'd ever go back on it... .-. But, whatevers...
no it was established that she was able to renounce it whenver she wanted. Infact there is a story in which she falls in love with a member of her hunting band and almost renounces her chastity, but due to typical greek tragedy reasons it doesn't work out and she ends up killing him instead. |

Celestia slowly walked to the front of the main house. Her hands were shoved into her pockets, shaking slightly. Her eyes gazed along the green grass as she walked slowly, as if the swaying green plants were a movie, as if she was examining them for something important. Of course, that was preposterous, nothing about the grass intrigued Celestia.She was just nervous, and when she grew anxious, she tended to stare at things and think about why she was worried. Thats exactly what she was doing.
When Hermes brought her up to mount olympus the night before, Celestia looked back onto camp haf blood with sorrow. She assumed she would never return. Why, you may ask? Because the only reason she could think of, of why Hermes was bringing her to the holy thrown room, was because Zeus found out about her existence. And if that were the case, (which it was) her own father would no doubt try, and succeed, at killing her. After all, she symbolized his weakness to disgraceful mortals. Her pure existence showed everyone that Zeus could make a mistake. And he always made sure he was rid of mistakes.
You could imagine her shock when her own father, against his own will it seemed, apologized to her. She couldn't believe her ears when Zeus even asked her for help! Celestia was astounded, she had no idea how to react. The 12 high olympic gods were watching, their intense eyes on her, as her own father, the most powerful of them all, apologized to her?!?! And then, asked for her help?
He didn't seem to thrilled about it, as if his apology wasn't genuin, and only being said because he needed her help, and not because he was really sorry. That only made Celestia even more angered by his existence, the fact he thought he could fake an apology and then demand her and the demi god's help. Then again, if she did help him, that would mean the war between the demi gods and the gods would be over. And so, she accepted.
They were to find a whip of immortality, capable of stealing the god's powers and transferring them to the user. Zeus was afraid his prophecy of the whip being stolen would come true, and so, since none of the gods could lay their fingers upon the weapon, they called for Celestia, Zeus's daughter, who would lead the mission. Thats exactly what she was going to do, however her identity of who her father really is will be kept hidden, to her own request, until she is ready.
Chiron, the head of the camp, half man, half stallion, not even he knows who her true father is. Celestia tells everyone she is a daughter of Aphrodite,not only because Artemis told her to say so before leaving Celestia, but also because she simply hates Zeus, her real father. And so, Aphrodite's cabin is where she stays. Every morning, Celestia was to put up with doing her hair, applying her makeup which she really doesn't care for, just to help her image and to hide her real identity.
Celestia waited outside the head cabin for her two friends to join her, the two people who would be aart of her team for the dangerous quest. |
